Thank you. If you compare that red with pre beta 3 screenshots, it seems this new one is darker, like the green was darker in beta 2, so it seems they've finally fixed those extra shinny status bar color we have in iOS 7

Thanks

Not sure if anyone has posted this or not, haven't read through all of the replies.

Since updating to beta 3, the 3G on my iPhone 5s is very intermittent and I have to do a reset for it to work again. I know it's a beta, but it's quite annoying!

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Anyone using the beta got any issues with Match, my purchased playlist appears to be empty and crashes the app!

Yeah my match is not working correctly. I have tried turning it off and back on as well as logging out. For the artists I have that have a lot of albums/songs for it freezes and crashes when I try and click on there name under artist view

Is the lowest brightness setting now turning backlight off completely? Noticed that this morning I absolutely could not see anything on the screen at all, even trying to shade it. Extremely hard to activate control center and turn brightness out when you can't even make it out.

It still has some backlight at the lowest level.

Anyone noticing the Today and/or Tomorrow preview in the "Today" section of Notification Center not really displaying anything (perhaps after a restart)? Seems like those items are often not there or are just blank, despite there being events and other information present for them to display.

Mine displays information for tomorrow.

Any changes to the Music app?
The one from 6.x looks much simpler and cleaner than 7.x

Seems this build is not as "ready" as b2 was. Seems to have more issues for more folks. Probably because of all the new additions/changes to the UI and various other places. Mine actually hard locked when I ended a phone call and the icons would turn dark when pressed but nothing would happen. no scroll, no app launch just whatever icon was selected would turn a shade darker. Had to hard reset it as no other response from any buttons including power. Never had that happen ever with any iOS version beta or not. Probably means at least b4 now before a GM ever drops.

OK, something else now, similar to iOS 7.0 beta 3 (or was it 4): suddenly all calls to me weren't getting to my phone, I would just see a voicemail indicator if one was left but no calls coming in or missed calls.

I restarted the phone and it seems to be back to normal (at least for now), but that was rather unsettling nonetheless.

Did you have Do Not Disturb on?

Did you have Do Not Disturb on?
Nope. This was during the day when DND is not scheduled nor was manually enabled (nor was somehow triggered on its own as its icon wasn't in the status bar either).

I should have mentioned that around the same time text messages (both actual SMS and iMessages) would come through just fine, along with email and other notifications. So it seems like it wasn't some sort of a cell signal issue or something like that.

Yup, on my 5s, auto-brightness disables after reboot. I notice that auto-brightness is pretty quick to make the screen brighter, but very slow to dim. It's about the same response as b1 and b2.

mine is doing the same. auto brightness turned off when i rebooted, had to turn it back on manually. i wonder if this will correct itself or if its a consistent bug.

Are there any screen shots showing the Reduce White Point option?
Dont think you can really capture brightness and slight color temperature differences type of changes in screenshots.

I want to see this too, even if it's not exact...can someone do a before and after?

Ha, I think if there was you would have heard about it before page 9 :D

This was minor changes for beta 3.

I seriously don't think the music app will be updated till iOS8.

I am sincere when I say turning it on and off is the same as moving the brightness slider less than the width of one character in the word BRIGHTNESS above the slider. It simply dims the display a tiny bit. There is no "color temperature change".

Guys, I can't update to 7.1B3. My device is registered but it keeps saying I'm not registered through the portal. I'm positive everything is right. Anyone get a solution to this?

It is a huge disappointment.

On my laptop screen I can really tell the difference between decreasing brightness with a button and with a slider on graphics card application. The latter decreases brightness while maintaining contrast and
increasing clarity.

well my battery life has certainly improved since beta 2

I think there's more there than a brightness change, there is some level of a color temperature or gamma type of change, it's just that it's somewhat minor so it's not extremely noticeable, but it is noticeable nonetheless.
