the new shift key shade is really irritating, it should be the other way around. i always think its pressed when its not

This is the only thing about 7.1 b3 that is bugging me. Maybe it's like the OS X reverse scroll thing and I'll just become used to it. Right now though, some web forms default to starting the first word capitalized and some don't, and I keep mistaking whether the shift key is pressed or not. There's a serious UI issue there when so many people are having the same interface problem.

My 5S touch ID takes longer to unlock the phone. Very annoying since they sped up the unlock animation but now touch ID takes even longer to register. Im sure it will be worked out. Just reporting it here.

You'll become used to it. It is just annoying because its not the same as before anymore. In 1-2 month nobody will even think about how it was before...;)

Actually happening to me as well, 5s Usually get home from work with about 60%, yesterday I was 45% at lunch. I usually arrive to work at 99%, today I was 84% with no usage. Had no issues before with beta 3 battery, was actually better before yesterday.

glad there is someone has same problem with me

Don't upgrade if you need to use the Lightning HDMI / VGA adapter!

Unfortunately, b2/b3 doesn't at all support the Lightning-HDMI (and, most probably, the Lightning-VGA) adapter. This means you will NOT want to upgrade if you need to use the Lightning HDMI / VGA adapter. Stay with 7.0.4.

It displays the following error message upon connecting the adapter (screenshots taken on my iPhone 5):

While, under 7.0.4, the adapter is properly recognized. A screenshot of General > About, with the adapter listed at the bottom:

Under b2/b3, the adapter isn't even listed there.

And this is the detailed view (again, in 7.0.4 only):

This applies to both b2 and b3, both with JB and without. With JB, I've tested the fully spoofed 7.1b3 -> 7.0.4 spoofed case too, in addition to the non-spoofed one. It didn't help either.

Incidentally, it's worth noticing Apple haven't released a single firmware update for the HDMI adapter ever since it has been released - that is, for 1.5 years. Hope they won't completely abandon it. That would be disastrous for many Apple fanboys defending the inferior quality of the adapter by stating it surely will be fixed in future updates. An example of these fanboy (in this case, he's "gaussian blur") Lightning-HDMI- and Apple-defending posts, from DPReview, is at http://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/52607824

neither the calendar nor the today/tomorrow summaries are showing anything in my nc, and I do have all three enabled.

Does anyone here use the NBC app? Trying to figure out if I need to restore or if the app isn't compatible.

Can someone check and see if accessing the clock app from control center exclusively brings up the timer function? They changed it to this behavior after 7.0 came out of beta.

Yes, this is how it still works, as designed essentially.

There's something that bugs me ever since the introduction of folders in iOS and is still present in iOS 7.

Lets assume you have the app you wish to use in a folder (it happens with any app within a folder). You tap on the folder to obviously get inside the folder and then you tap the app to open it and do whatever you need to do.

Once you have finished using the app, the bugbear with me is that you now have to press the Home button to exit the app, and then you need to press the home button again to exit the folder and return back to the Home screen?!

Why can't it take a single press, from within the app (which is obviously inside the folder) to return back to the home screen (the app should close and it should zoom/fade all the way back out to the home screen instead of just closing and returning to the folder. No?

Yeah I figured the change was intentional, but I wish it didn't work like that. Originally, it was great since I use the stopwatch a lot, but oh well.

Thanks for checking.

How about the SD card reader, which has never worked on an iPhone (which makes no sense at all to me)? By any chance did they add support?

Just noticed I'm subscribed to a US Holiday calendar and I never did that myself. I can't figure out how to unsubscribe to it. Is this new as well then?

Darker green Phone, Messages and FaceTime app icon colors? .. How long do you think it will take WhatsApp developers do adapt this 'drastic' change?

Jajajajajajajajajaja! Judging for how long they took to update to iOS 7 when almost every top app was updated first week even earlier... My answer would be, 2 months at least :p

Apples holiday calendar? It should be under settings > mail, contacts and calendars. At the top it lists all accounts, this is where my us holidays subscription is listed. I subscribed to it myself. However, if you have your gmail or yahoo calendar linked with your phones calendar, you may have to go into their web settings to delete that subscription if it's through them.

Not sure if it's beta related (or if it's always been like this), but if my phones locked & I get a text it'll show on the screen, along with any emails. When I unlock it and bring up Notification Center, no texts/iMessages are listed (even though I have it enabled for them to be there), but anything else that happened while it was locked is listed.

I checked and I'm not seeing it under accounts. The only calender I have is through iCloud and I didn't set it up through there. I didn't even set it up anywhere. I just upgraded from 7.0.4 to 7.1 b3 and noticed it.
