iOS 7.1 Beta 4 Bug Fixes and Changes

Bad news, it seems like I'm seeing more crashes from Mr. Reeder and Twitterrific in b4 (after opening the web browser). No crashes since b2-b3 in a month but 2-3 already this week. They messed up something in b4.

It does look like low memory conditions like in 7.0.4.

Mr.Reader works for me on b4. On my iPad air.
 
I also thought that it is from b4 because it crashed in any app trying to type a smiley but I googled it anyway and it was a problem with the dictionary: go to settings/general/reset/reset keyboard dictionary. It worked for me.

No unlock sound, but there is a bug for the lock sound. It seems poor quality compared to before and if you put your ear up close to the speaker you can hear that there is static white noise for a couple of seconds afterwards, new in beta 4?

You mean the echo?
 
Does anyone elses iPad Air freeze about all the time, requiring a home button + power button reboot? It happens maybe once per hour of usage
 
Haven't read the whole thread.

Does 7.1 fix the all day calendar in notifications "bug"?

As in It doesn't show calendar entries in the notification pull down if they are set as all day.

Nope, they still don't show up in the Today section of Notification Center.

I've noticed that also...but what I would really like to know is , are full screen contact photos still showing in 7.1 for incoming calls (If set that way on the phone ) ??? 😕😕😕

That's the thing, it's no longer doing that in iOS 7.1 since beta 3 I believe (when the incoming call screen was redesigned).

That's what I was afraid of...I hope that will be fixed before the final release .
