Does anyone crash their iPad when using 5 finger pinch to minimize an app? The closing animation will get stuck and the device becomes unresponsive.

It happened to me on every release of iOS7 so far - often enough to be frustrating. Wondering if it was still happening on this beta?

Not on my mini

Why would they revert shift key colors? It is so confusing right now. I've noticed that the font is smaller in Safari's address bar. Is it really? And once again... the ***** font is bolder which now makes it harder to read stuff. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Last night I rebooted my phone since after installing an update for a few apps one of the apps kept crashing. After the reboot I lost two of my apps, VNC Viewer and Teleport app from my home screen. I thought I would merely re-install them but when I went to the app store it said Open not Install or Download. The phone has them installed but no icons to click... anyone else experience this issue?

Can you access them from Spotlight?

Nope tried that also earlier. I was able to remove them from Settings->General->Usage section. I found each app, total of four, in there that showed they had App data but no app. The name was blank and the icon was still valid, clicking on the app said the name was (null) and then I was able to delete the app from there. After that I could re-install them but of course I lost the settings.

It was weird because each app had an update after and before B4.

That's really odd. I've never had that happen to me on a beta before..

Is anyone else having issues with shortcuts? I did a clean restore to beta 4 and all of my saved shortcuts were gone from the Settings>General>Keyboard menu. Not only that but when I tried to add them back it wouldn't save. It would let me enter in the phrase and shortcut but hitting save didn't actually save the shortcut.

Nope, did the same thing yesterday, got every shortcut.

Hmm, I wonder what the deal is with mine. I tried restoring multiple times. Wonder if it has to do with flaky service/wifi at work. Will have to try again at home.

Multitasking is massively faster for me on my iphone 5. When switching to an app, I can interact with it instantly, I have always had a second delay on my phone (probably due to the amount of apps I have and a backup which is as old as iCloud.), big improvement

Has iOS 7.1 b4 added blur effect to Control Center on the iPad 2 and 3? Currently it's just a translucent gray.

Agreed! The shift is driving me crazy.....

For some reason Mailbox seems to take much longer to connect and download emails now too....

Another strange one.... I cannot "Share Contact" via message....

I asked this in a previous thread, but anyone else having issues with the music app freezing when clicking artists with large discos? It only seems to happen to The Beatles (1.38 GB), oddly enough artists with 1 GB open.. has happened since beta 3, still happening in beta 4.

Yes I am. I have an artist with all their albums and several live ones. 53 total.. clicking this artist makes the app unusable now.

I've noticed this with the iOS Mail app beginning with iOS 7.1 beta 3 and it continues with beta 4. I thought it was my WiFi and or AT&T service but I've read others talking about it too. It takes considerably longer for my 5S to download mail and then notify me of received mail. It's annoying to receive the tone or vibrate alert AFTER I've deleted the new mail!

iPad Air Still Having Issues

Even after upgrading to iOS 7.1b4 I am still getting a lot of application crashes especially from Safari. All the crash logs show "low memory" errors so either memory management in iOS 7 is horrible, Safari has a severe memory leak or garbage collection bug, or the iPad Air does not have enough memory for basic operations such as web browsing with a few open tabs.

Well hopefully you guys are reporting this. I can't live without the Mail app. :)

Personally I think 1GB of RAM on the Air is insufficient. I returned my Air because it couldn't keep a few tabs open. Hopefully the next iteration finally gives it the 2GB it deserves.
