I had some instability shortly after downgrading to 7.0.6 on my iPhone 5s, but after a restart and resetting network settings it's fine. It is slower, and the HDR bug is still present in 7.0.6. I miss the speed of 7.1. Considering this security hole has been present since iOS 6, it didn't feel all that urgent go to 7.0.6. But I did it anyway.

Not really. I've been using it for a few months now. Just minor refinements and slight aesthetic changes.
And at lest a good amount of under the hood improvements to improve overall stability and performance.

For me it just lost the state as "Rock solid" :(
I have an app that crushes when I click on a certain button. After clicking the button the app closes around two seconds later.
Now I accidentally closed the app during the crash and something really odd happened.
I got back to the home screen, but a second later the app opened again, but with a freezer screen. I was able to open other apps with multitasking, but when I wanted to go back to the home screen, I just saw the broken app.

Sounds a bit complex, but check http://youtu.be/FyufjCbLsEs for the bug. Only a restart solved the problem.
(For the video clicking on "Mehr" makes the app crash.)

Does anyone have this problem with a different app?

Edit: iPhone 5 running iOS 7.1 beta 5

Emmm it is beta and some 3rd party applications can conflict with new iOS because app still isn't updated....

I have had my first springboard crash on iOS7.1 today. The screen went briefly all blue and then white with the black apple logo (White iPhone 5S). After aeound 10-15 seconds everything went back to normal.

Yeah, well I care more about protecting myself from hackers than split view in calendar.

I care more about split Calendar view the entirety of tweaks available on Cydia.

And...it helps to actually understand a security vulnerability before ever commenting on one.

Sorry, hacking is probably the wrong term. I meant to say people spying on connections to secure websites and the possibility of login information being stolen. But split calendar is more important :)

Does anyone have an answer to this poster's question? I'd like to know, too, as I have both models.

I am running 7.1 beta 5 on my iPad mini and iPad Air and I think both the iPad mini runs great. I had it on my iPhone 5s but downgraded to 7.0.6 after the exploit was announced.

IMHO, beta 5 is significantly smoother and more stable than 7.0.6. Since downgrading, my iPhone has experienced numerous resprings and random bugs. While on beta 5, I didn't have any.

Looking forward to the public release of 7.1.

7.1b5 for me has caused so many issues with iMessages that I had to disable it. So many folks could not receive or reply to my iMessage content. I hope it was because they were on an older (7.0.x) version.
