Somewhere In Apple's HQ ;)
I know iOS 7.1 has just been released, but I will like to know what you guys think about it. Did it fix most of your bugs, and improve the responsiveness of your iOS device?

My 5S is flying now! I see now why people were saying 7.0 was slow. Can't wait to update my mini when I get home from work! :D

My 4S is much nicer now! Is anyone else getting the reverse order in the music app for albums? When you tap Artists>Albums they now show the newest first. Not sure I like that change...

I'm getting iOS 6-esque response times on my iPhone 5 (orig) and iPad 4. I would even dare say it's better, but I'll wait before I have few days of usage to declare that. So far, so good though.

Good release, but the font in favorites from contacts looks blurry to me. Actually the font in favorites is a lot thicker compared to "recents".

And unfortunately the translucency in control center has been reduced greatly, which is a shame cause it was pretty much perfect. Now it's really not that far from what iPhone 4 users get.

Last but not least, perspective zoom. Is it just another name for removing the parallax effect quickly and conveniently when setting a wallpaper? Turning it off will greatly reduce the effect. However, leaving it on or turning it on will basically zoom in and turn on the "parallax". I guess this is a way of deciding whether or not you want parallax without removing all the other animations?

They've knackered the list view in the calendar. In iOS 7.0 on my iPhone 4s I could tap on the magnifying glass button and get a list of all entries. Now the list doesn't appear until I start typing.

Strangely it still works fine on my 3rd gen iPad.

Never felt like iOS 7 was slow, but after installing iOS 7.1 on my devices, I can definitely feel and see the difference.

Still a LITTLE bit buggy, but I'm sure 7.1.1 can sort it out.

I'm using iPhone 5s, but we have an iPhone 4 in the house and surprisingly the iPhone 4 is really smooth and performance feels a lot better with iOS 7.1. It's amazing how a four year old device can become so fluid with just a bit of optimisation.

iOS 7.1 update thread, post experience here

Looking for some feedback from those who have installed iOS 7.1 and what kind of performance improvements and/or bugs you have observed.

Why is it so slow. I thought animations were supposed to be faster.

There is now a huge lag when going from safari to the home screen where the icons don't even show for a second.

- animations are much much smoother and faster
- touch id seems a bit faster
- spotlight search still seems to drop a frame for the first time i pull it down

not a fan of the keyboard, seems bulky i like the older one much better... and the green has changed i noticed seems a bit brighter...glad they finally made notes in the calender for holidays you'd think that would've been done years ago

Has anyone noticed the text size doesn't seen to have any effect on the notification centre? :-(

Say what? Something may have gone wrong for you.

All round I'm impressed although I hate the new keyboard looks clunky and to in you're face old keyboard was way better
