iOS 7.1 Feedback

So after a few days of using my phone during it's normal duties, iOS:7.1 feels refined and 'snappier' for the most part.

I'm really happy the close and opening app animations have been sped up.

battery life is no different for me, but I still get most of a day out of the phone.

Updated for one day:

1. Overnight drain 10% and on 3G, 10% in 6 minutes

2. At lock screen, bringing up control center feels stutter

Totally disappointed. I like ios 7 design but not all the problems.

Do you understand that this is not normal and not related to iOS 7.1 itself but to something on your unit ?

What i understand is that it doesn't happen on 7.0.6.

I'm not denying that ... But it is a problem in your specific configuration/hardware, so don't expect a "fix" from Apple.
Did you consider the option to make an appointment with a Genius ?

yea i didn't mean to sound offensive either..the warranty is over and the cost to repair if there are any problems is pretty high here.

i was really hoping they would have got rid of that nasty lag presented through the notification bar pulldown and control center pull up on the lockscreen as it has been there since 7.1 beta 3 (no lag whatsoever on 7.0) am i the only one experiencing this lag on the lockscreen? i am very surprise Apple didnt fix this as i have never experience lag like this on iOS and only Android. Not a HUGE issue but of course its something that should be addressed.

I am on a black iPhone 5 by the way.

You are not the only one, I too am experiencing this in the lock screen, as is another iPhone 5 user in my house, as well as others on this forum.

NC and CC definitely lag on the screen, it's not major lag but it's still annoying. I even tried restoring as a new device and no fix, so it's a OS issue. They lag nowhere else, only the lock screen, very annoying.

Just opened the podcast app. Bottom row was translucent. Only way to get it solid was to force close the app from multitask view.

Lots of closes from photos setting as wallpaper back to spring board.

iOS 7 is not finished :)

Is it just me or does the final version of 7.1 feel buggier than beta 5?? Had the map app freeze twice on me this weekend. Just in general things don't feel as smooth :(

Never seen the BETAs but Safari crashes aside, 7.0.4 was more solid for me and also returned better battery life.

I didn't install the beta, but I just checked my error logs and I don't have ANY crash since iOS 7.1 installation

Not a single one !

I used to have at least one crash report every 2-3 days before.
I'm very well impressed by iOS 7.1

Idk, what it is.. I just keep getting random freezes. Did a clean install and everything.

After updating my ipad 4 i just noticed a few problems - assistive touch does not respond from time to time and more delay for the multitasking screen to show up when you press the home button twice.

I hope they fixed that on the next update if there will be one. :)

the only annoying bug I've come to have on my iPad Air with 7.1 is that it gets stuck in portrait and requires a reboot to fix it. (and no, I didn't have the switch on ;))

another is on my 5s where AirPlay wouldn't come up until I rebooted.

other than that it's been solid. :)

Did you do the wireless upgrade from beta 5? I did and it seemed a bit buggy so I did a full restore of 7,1 and restored my backup. Seems better. Even though the 7.1 was 1.5 GB for beta users I feel it still left some old code on the phone..

I restored back to 7.0.6 before updating, might try to restore if it keeps acting up.
