iOS 7.1, Where Art Thou?

So based on Gruber's comments do you guys/gals think before Friday of this week?
I'm hoping tomorrow, if not Friday.

Oh look, MacRumours have just mentioned Gruber in a new article relating to iOS 7.1
It sounds like it will go from beta 5 to release and not GM for a week before release. I am guessing it will come this week, just no clue when.

I think our best bet is tomorrow for sure. Given the fact that all x.1 updates from Apple have been either on a Monday or a Wednesday. On another note though, it is possible that they could release it next Monday, but that would be cutting it too close to the Festival in my opinion.

Nothing is really for sure until it actually happens or at least Apple themselves essentially officially says so. That said, certainly it's increasingly more and more likely that it will happen sometime this week.Look at MacRumors latest article, this week for sure, hopefully tomorrow

Add me to the list of people willing to bet on it being released tomorrow. Almost exactly two years ago, iOS 5.1 was released on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, with the introduction of the iPad 3.
So in 2014, I'm betting iOS 7.1 will be released on a Wednesday in the first week of March: tomorrow, in this case.

It's not even that I want 7.1 so badly, I just want the wait to be dang over with. Release it, let me update it and just forget about it.
It's just the opposite for me. I have to decide if I return my iPad Air to Best Buy and I have until Friday to do that.
If that's the deciding factor for you then go ahead and return it. 7.1 isn't coming out until the second week in march.

So. Included in the latest headline of MacRumours the words "any day now" are included, this means mid-March does it? No, it doesn't.
If the 7.1 update is enough to have you on the fence about keeping the dang thing just get rid of it.

Just wonder what we will all do AFTER its released? I mean what is one to do if not on Macrumors every day at 12:30 til 1:00 pressing refresh hoping to see some new gear icon with the golden words iOS x.x.x "This update addresses x,y,z and other various issues." LOL I mean holy crap what if Apple does not start working on iOS 7.1.1 and iOS 8 is way out til June. Guess start looking for Windows 8.1 Update 1 each day then I suppose.

um curious, whats wrong with Beta 5 that you cannot take much more of? Works as well as any iOS version on a 4s.
After thought, what if 7.1 beta 5 IS the GM like 6.1 was. hmm interesting twist huh?
beta 5 is certainly not perfect....way better than 7.0.4 but missing the polish of a final release, and there are some outstanding bugs. Looking forward to a months worth of polish when this drops tomorrow.

Can't even imagine returning the iPad Air and "getting rid of it" because of whatever you're waiting to see fixed.
My iPad Air is nearly perfect on iOS 7.1 beta.
