You do understand what the second week in March means right? Oh, the term Peeing me off? That's a little.....cant say that here but think about it:);)

Ok now I am curious too. You have said that umteen times, but where are getting your information from? Seems you are just randomly picking a week and expect it to be the gospel. If there is ANY evidence or reasoning behind your prediction I am sure we would all be interested in hearing it. Otherwise I suspect you are just trying to stir up diissst whatever (and you are succeeding btw). All rumors and other speculation at least has some merit except yours which is just some random MR dude shouting the gospel. So do share. (thegrants82 is not Greg Federighi MR alias is it?) Your secret is safe here.

We are in the 2nd week of March right now.........

HA ok well thanks for clarifying. Not really according to most but you have a little bit of a point technically. So iOS7.1 , 2nd week of march it is (we hope anyway) I suspect tomorrow is the magic day. Get your F5 keys cleaned off for refresh :)

PS: you are evil BTW. dsiiist about to have a heart attack thinking it was next week (ie the 3rd week of march)

Yep thats this week. Pretty much has to come out before next week so it must be this week. Funny, it actually took me awhile to realize that people weren't getting the 2nd week thing but yes, it is the second week right now.

No we're not. Just because a month doesn't start on a Sunday (or Monday) doesn't mean it's second week starts any earlier. That's not how it works. I understand the joke you were aiming for but you were incorrect in phrasing. It'd be like if you started a movie at 6:55 and at 8:03 said "this is the third hour of this movie".

Protip: if you want to pull everyone's leg, it helps not to do it in a completely dunderheaded way.

Anyway, so we're thinking tomorrow then?

I'm saying before next week. tommorow doesn't really hold any meaning but apple is pretty much committed after todays news to release before next week.

Actually, it does hold significance. Apple has always released X.1 updates on Wednesdays.

The most recent X.1 release (iOS 6.1) seems to have been released on a Monday (and some earlier iOS/iPhone OS ones, before iOS 4, also came out on days other than a Wednesday)

1.1 - Friday
2.1 - Tuesday
3.1 - Wednesday
4.1 - Wednesday
5.1 - Wednesday
6.1 - Monday

I don't think there was any intentional pattern there. Just a few coincidences.

Yes, they've been released on Mondays too. But given the information about the Festival by Gruber (which starts on Tuesday) I'm pretty sure Apple wouldn't want to cut it so close as to release it a day before it starts.

And Fridays as well. Realistically at this point it leaves them Wednesday, Thursday, and still potentially Friday to launch it this week.

Yep. But according to their recent schedules, it looks like it's either Monday or Wednesday. So since it's most likely not Monday, Wednesday it is. All I'm hoping is that tomorrow is the big day.

All those "schedules" really showed is that there really is no particular schedule that can be used to predict or rely on (beyond releases almost always happening on weekdays), especially of you factor in all iOS updates/releases in general.

I'm still betting on tomorrow though.

This almost makes less sense than when you said they only release on Wednesdays…almost but not quite.

Yeah, I bet it's due tomorrow, so they can feature the iTunes Festival app on thursday when they do their weekly App Store update.
