iOS 7.1, Where Art Thou?

And yet none of that confirms anything about iOS 7.1 being released this week. Again, there's plenty to imply that and make it look like that might essentially be almost an obvious conclusion, but no actual confirmation as has been claimed. What a confirmation is is not what has been provided in any information so far.
Well, that's as much confirmation as I'll ever need. Gruber is almost, if not always, right on stuff like this. Pretty pumped now.

this week probably but not necessarily today. iOS updates for .1 releases have been on mondays and wednesdays.
Now that's a bit more along the lines of confirmation, although there still isn't a full one until Apple themselves says that (which they haven't).

Maybe because he is lucky in guessing? Because judging from facts (Carplay, BGR, appleinsider, 9to5mac, timeframe http://www.thinkybits.com/blog/iOS-versions/) it is logical that Public release will be this or next week....
No, it's not that. He has real sources inside Apple. Just Google search "John Gruber predictions." He has predicted what will be shown at many Apple events and many WWDCs. He was even the first one to say that the first-gen iPad wouldn't have any cameras, and that the first-gen mini would have the same display as the original iPad. People called him crazy for it, but he ended up being right.
