This is how it should be, back to rumours and nothing certain. WWDC 2013 is going to be the most exciting since 2007, I really cannot wait. I was really pissed last year with all the leaks, to the point I hardly cared.

Well done Tim!

If they don't release a new Mac Pro, I'll be very upset.

Exactly ;)

Que up the (paid) Android/Samsung-employee-posing-as-a-normal-MacRumors-poster invasion for tomorrow.

And oh God.....the whole removable battery/memory card thing is so overdone. I have no need to switch out a battery, and no need for a memory card.

DO YOU HEAR US YOU PAID ANDROID SHILLS? WE WILL NOT SWITCH OVER, AND WE HAVE NO INTENTION TO!!!

Exactly.

Since you don't see the need for them, they aren't needed! And this is a Mac-only forum. If you have bad things to say about anything dear Apple puts out then go somewhere else!

/sarcasm

The only way I could possibly see iOS 7 as polarizing would be if it was a lot more like Android. Your average iOS user likes evolutionary changes, not revolutionary. When the iOS revolution finally comes, expect your local Apple store to be filled with a lot of confused middle-age women seeking answers to why their phones and tablets don't work as well as they used to.

Apple have always been polarising. That is why we get so many Android trolls here. Their hatred of Apple is stronger than their love of Android, so they spend their time on Apple forums.

The Android trolls are here because Samsung pays them to be here. As for me, I'm trolling for free.

Polarizing? I know what it means, but can someone explain how it's used here?

You'll either love iOS 7 or hate it...

polarize: divide or cause to divide into two sharply contrasting groups or sets of opinions or beliefs: [ no obj. ] : the cultural sphere has polarized into two competing ideological positions | [ with obj. ] : Vietnam polarized political opinion.

Apple TV

I am surprised that the Apple TV has been left out of the rumor mill entirely. Wouldn't this be a perfect time to announce to developers new opportunities with Apple TV? It does run iOS, doesn't it?

I hope by that he means not "flatter." I hate the way windows 8 looks and would hate for them to do anything like that that to iOS.

They're making the two OS's more consistent.

po·lar·ize (pl-rz)
v. po·lar·ized, po·lar·iz·ing, po·lar·iz·es
v.tr.
1. To induce polarization in; impart polarity to.
2. To cause to concentrate about two conflicting or contrasting positions.
v.intr.
1. To acquire polarity.
2. To cause polarization of light.

You realize that the definition you've selected means the exact opposite, right? "About" in this context is like "around," and as for the original question, I'm sure that "polarizing" refers to the opinion of users: some will love it (one position) others will hate it (other position, and people will concentrate at one of those extremes).

The Apple TV has not seemed to be much focus for Apple, especially at WWDC. If and when any announcements are made it'll most likely be an actual television running a version of iOS.

At some point they'll have to adapt, so hopefully that time will come sooner rather than later (preferably tomorrow).
