I think that's more of a website thing, they see you're using Mobile Safari so they display the mobile site. Safari just shows the page it's given.

Nope. That's the websites control, only way Safari can do it is by modifying how it identifies itself to the website.

Ok but when I use a browser other than Safari, like Puffin or SkyFire I don't get taken to a mobile site. I'd love an option in Safari to have it be recognized as desktop and not mobile.

Do you think we will see new Emojis in iOS 7?

Actually I believe there are a handful of new ones, unless I missed them over the last few months... There are some new animals and some new items.

Although, didn't there used to be an emoji with a zippered mouth? I can't find it anymore... I could've sworn it was there, unless I'm thinking of Skype...

I have to admit... I think iOS 7 is great!
I could even live with this beta lol
iOS 7 really made me love my iPhone and compared to this, iOS 6 is too basic.
And about the icons and everyone feeling annoyed about it: you will get used to them, after a week you don't even notice anymore. And they aren't even that bad.
Congratulations Apple, I hope there will be more major updates like this in the future operating systems.

Not sure if this has already been discussed but does Safari still automatically redirect to moible sites in iOS 7? That's one thing I've always hated because there's no way to turn it off and not all sites always offer a link to the desktop.

Still the same in iOS 7

They must be using a different User Agent. Safari on the desktop has the option of telling a website that it's Safari, IE, Chrome, Firefox, or Opera.

They're set to use a different user agent by default. Apple won't bring it in as they would see no need to.

Does iOS 7 make full use of the landscape keyboard on the 5? When typing in landscape on iPhone 5 using iOS6, there's plenty of space to expand the keyboard on each side.

I'm sure it has something to do with being fully compatible with the phones prior to the 5, but just wanted to see if Apple was able to make it work somehow.

Maybe. Or it could be that they felt the landscape keyboard would be too long if it were to be fully expanded.

If you tapped the status bar to scroll to the top and then refreshed the page pre-iOS 7 it would take you back to where you were along the page at the moment you tapped the status bar before.

Noppe that's just BS, Tested it on ios6; it reloads the page and stays on the top of it, giving advanteges to the new method. But that would destroy your biased views on iOS 7 wouldn't it?...
