Is anyone else having the same problem as me?

iOS7 BETA 3 + iPhone 5

Pressing power button won't lock phone. Have to press it 5+ times for it to lock. Sometimes 10+

Phuu.... yes. I have the exact same problem. Didn't arrive immediately after upgrading did it? Was wondering if my phone was at fault or if it was beta 3.

Have you thought of a broken button?
Well considering the button worked Pre-iOS7 perfectly, then started having problems moment I put on iOS7 on it.
Holding power button down also works which cries out iOS issue not Hardware to me.

Glad I am not the only one. I still have my bug report open with Apple about it. Not sure if they are doing anything about it :s. Weird thing is my iPad Mini works perfectly fine, so it must be the iPhone specific, either that or randomised bug.

Check this out, just see how much the entire OS changes just because of a wallpaper change. Use the following on the lock screen and home screen to see for yourself. I'm gonna try to search for some other gradient wallpapers like this with maybe other colours

Hard to see the status bar text/icons when not in lockscreen (Example 2)... should be a lighter shaded font or have a background glow like the lightning bolt IMO.
Love the shadowing on the clock though! :)

Found two new things.

• In Safari, you can rearrange your favorites icons by long pressing and then dragging. Not sure if this has been mentioned.

• In control center, the tiny switch on the flashlight button turns on and off when you toggle it.

screenshot of safari?

Apple re-signs 6.0.x

https://twitter.com/iH8sn0w/status/360541557948035072

If you went to iOS 7 from Jailbroken iOS 6.1.2 or below and are now stuck with iOS 6.1.4 check this out.

So Apple is re-signing iOS 6.0.x not 6.1.x
Not sure for how long but if you are on iOS 6.1.4 and you miss your jailbroken iPhone. DO THIS NOW! It actually worked, its been verified by a few guys in 9to5Mac.

Oh one more thing! Keep in mind that if you have a back up in iOS 6.1 it wont work when you downgrade to iOS 6.0.x

Im sure we will see new ones. Also I wonder if the emojis will have an updated design like a flatter look to them

Not sure if you are aware, but Apple doesn't actually add new emojis themselves. Emojis are a standard decided upon by the Unicode Technical Committee. Apple can participate in this process but they can't just add emojis willy nilly.

For some insight into this, you can follow this 2008 discussion: http://www.unicode.org/mail-arch/unicode-ml/y2008-m12/0063.html

You can turn it off only when you reply or post. Took me a while to figure out. :)

Mine always says disabled, i disabled it back when I got the app 4 months back, but still does it. Think that's what he was trying to explain. It's a glitch either with iOS 7 or the latest tapatalk 2 update. Mine never did it before the last month or so.

iOS 6 - Me to Siri: "Call Home"
Siri: "Calling Home"

iOS 7: Me to Siri: "Call Home"
Siri: "Who would you like to call?"
Me To Siri: "Call Home"
Siri: "With whom would you like to speak?"

Not sure if this has already been discussed but does Safari still automatically redirect to moible sites in iOS 7? That's one thing I've always hated because there's no way to turn it off and not all sites always offer a link to the desktop.

I think that's more of a website thing, they see you're using Mobile Safari so they display the mobile site. Safari just shows the page it's given.

Nope. That's the websites control, only way Safari can do it is by modifying how it identifies itself to the website.
