As soon as the install was completed and on the home screen, felt the phone getting warm again, like the first time I installed iOS 7. Did a network rest again. Phone was still very warm after reset. Turned off LTE, and phone immediately starting cooling off.

Just to confirm - it is fine to update OTA if you don't have a registered UDID. I updated to beta 1 without one, and just now finished updating to beta 2 with no problems.

And geez, that drained a lot of battery. I started dl/update at 80+ and when I was done, it came down to 68. Is that normal?

Doesn't take a week to make a good icon. I could make better ones in 10 minutes.

You can not make a cohesive, system wide set of icons, along with their control center versions, in ten minutes.
And if icons were the only thing that needed to be fixed in iOS then maybe a week would be enough.
