Just checked OTA updated on my phone, Beta 2 is available.

Wifi is talking about the OTA update not through iTunes.

• The time estimate was way off
• The download progress bar is too narrow
• The Preparing Update step took too long

What else did you expect? Why would a new beta look any different? The betas at most will have minor tweaks between now and final release. At this point they are focused on fixing bugs, not making big UI changes.

As much as I dislike the settings icon (and I dislike it a lot), I thought the contra-rotating gear animation was pretty neat.

And I just pointed out that it should look the same. Although you couldn't have been using it for more than a minute or two so I am not sure how you looked at everything in that time frame.
