I'll save the whiners some time...

• I don't like the spinning gear
• The time estimate was way off
• The download progress bar is too narrow
• The Preparing Update step took too long
• Why isn't it posted on the iOS Dev Site yet?

Yes. Apple does not check UDIDs on OTA updates.

Chill people it looks the same.

You don't need to tell everyone to chill. A 200+MB update is going to have some minor UI changes. But no one expects sweeping changes to the UI at this point.

I think preparing and downloading are the same thing. Mine was ready to install after the preparing stage.

Doesn't take a week to make a good icon. I could make better ones in 10 minutes.
