Last night, when I did my fresh install of beta 3...I restored my iTunes backup, it took almost 7 hours to sync...it took AGES with each app. The sync ended correctly though, but yes, it took a looooong time and I had the "waiting for changes" message for around 15 minutes before it started, maybe more.

Last night, when I did my fresh install of beta 3...I restored my iTunes backup, it took almost 7 hours to sync...it took AGES with each app. The sync ended correctly though, but yes, it took a looooong time and I had the "waiting for changes" message for around 15 minutes before it started, maybe more.
When I go into Multitasking everything disappears and it's just my background. This is on my iPad mini, works fine on my iPhone 5. Anybody else experiencing this?
I saw someone else post about this earlier, not sure if it was this thread or a separate one. Maybe dig around a bit. But if it's a minor bug not something that needs to be fixed, then it'll probably be addressed the next beta.
Thanks. Yeah I'm not too worried about it, just a little bug. I'm sure it will be fixed, I just didn't know if it was happening to only the iPad mini's or other iPad's.
iOS 7 Beta 3 has been better than beta 2 for me. Quite a ways better. I'm still getting pretty strong battery drain, the occasional black wallpaper glitch, but I've got a much more severe issue.
Sometimes the phone will crash (though funnily enough never when I'm using it) and it won't respond any input. I press the home and sleep/wake buttons and nothing. I have to hold them both and do a hard restart to get it to turn back on. Was dangerously scary the first time it happened.

Yeah I just noticed I have this issue too on my iPad mini. It's just a minor bug and like the guy above just said, it'll probably be addressed in the next beta release. No worries
Working as intended I guess. iMessages can be send to emails so it's definitely useful.
Do you have an iPhone 5? That's a known hardware defect with some early 5's. I took mine to Apple a few months ago for that exact same thing, and they immediately replaced it on the spot.
Pressing on the right (outer edge) side did not work, middle worked sometimes, and the very left edge of the button worked 100% of the time but was not natural to use. Is that what yours is doing?
One glitch I've noticed - similar to swiping to read a notification opening the phone. My beloved Starbucks passbook notification in the lock screen. It no longer takes me to the card but merely unlocks. This caused me a little embarrassment fumbling into spotlight to locate the card!
Good question. I seldom have songs with lyrics, but sometimes it useful.

Am I the only one who hates the new Safari?. It seems like it lost a lot of features that really come in handy. For instance, there's no "Find in Page" option. Also, I agree with the post that says that they made it more confusing by making it more simple.
I use an Android phone and Chrome just seems like a much beter alternative I have Betas on an iPod and an iPad mini and I don't like how you don't get the same experience on both devices. Why does the iPad comes without calculator and weather apps?. I know this is not new and it's been like that since always but I just can't figure out the logic behind it.
Also, there seems to be a problem with iTunes sync. If i add any new songs to my library an plug mi iPod, it sync ALL my music all over again. It's pretty frustrating. I have to mention that I'm also running the Mavericks Beta but I don't think that has much to do with it. Anyone else having this issue?.

it's a bit off topic but I dont like the male Siri. What will Rajesh Koothrapali do now??. I think that episode brought major attention to Siri and now adding a male voice just seems like a bad marketing idea to me. Especially since it has the same name.
Also, do you agree that it seems like Apple it's putting the visual aspect of the iOS in a much higher priority than the functionality?. They mocked that most Android users have an OS that was released in 2010... and I agree. But nonetheless, since 2010 Android has been doing the same things iOS took untill now to do.

Oh, one more thing.... (hehe). It's good that they brought back the time in the music lockscreen but WHY does it have to be that small?. I wouldnt mind if they removed the "foreward and back" line so you can see the time easier. Also, I've noticed that if you use a passcode then the time won't show untill you fully unlock the device. Music playing or not. I find that VERY annoying.

Same issue on iapd 2. Works fine after a restart for a little while but then at some point i have the same blank wallpaper issue. Maybe its a memory issue.

Anybody else getting a non translucent strip on their dock when using still wallpapers? Had the same issue in beta 2.
Anyone able to get travel time working with appointments in calendar? I don't get any location suggestions either.
Got the weather here in the today tab. And Siri works again, she didn't in beta 2.
I think he means the appointments/meetings in your calendar shifting times based on your time zone as you travel - and this is (or was) definitely something that worked with iOS. I travel often and have relied on this for quite some time.
I'm happy to report that a hard restart brought the weather back, and a reset of all settings brought Siri back.
I had that on my iPad 3 with Beta 2, haven't seen it (yet) in Beta 3, but give it time.
I had that on my iPad in Beta 2. I haven't bothered with changing my wallpaper in Beta 3 yet.
