iOS 7 B1-B3 has brought back an old bug fixed in iOS 6.1.4 — iPhones bought in China do not respect region settings. Even after clean restores and settings/safari data wipes, your Safari will search only with censored Chinese search engines, no matter where you are in the world, no matter what SIM card you use, no matter your international settings.

Would someone with a developer account do me a huge favor and report this? ;) (Don't ask don't tell) I'm on an iPhone 5.

Dont have this problem. Is it with a specific type of account?

All types of accounts. Problems occur when I delete junk mails without reading them.

not saying that you should, just sharing the way I got rid of mine for the time being, after all it is a beta version still and should be corrected at some point.

I know what you mean. :)

iTunes sync issues

Hey there!

I experience a problem with iTunes syncing on the iOS 7 beta 3. My desktop is running OS X 10.8 and the latest iTunes.

The problem is that the iTunes syncs only apps, pics and docs, but not videos or songs. How can it happen? It kept trying to sync it for 20+ times, but still no songs on my iPhone 5. They simply do not play, but are present in the song list (it's incomplete, lack of latest added songs).

I've found a guy who had the same problem, but still no solution:

Appreciate any help, guys!

this worked for me, check the "sync checked songs and videos" and "manually manage music and videos". Now you have to drag your music into the iTunes library, and from there drag them to your phone, unless your music is already in iTunes, then you can just put it on your phone.

Just noticed this in messages, swipe to the left!

No option on-screen way to reject an incoming call?

I have to double press the power button to reject the call and send it to voicemail (pressing it once, mutes the phone/ stops the vibrating).

The cross icon in the notification centre has disappeared :(

Probably because I'm running it on an iPhone 4.

iOS 7 Beta 3 Bugs

AT&T iPhone 5.

Siri can not make facetime calls. well at least the male siri cant, haven't tried female.

If you assign wallpapers from the photos app, go back in and try to assign another wallpaper, the photos app crashes.

In photos every time i click on a photo to view, the bar at the bottom with the share and delete icons jump up.(UI issue)

Sometimes after closing an app in the multitasking screen, if I go back to the home screen the home screen wallpaper turns black.

If you play music through siri, the control center music controls and lock screen music controls stop working.

Y'all should try to reproduce these things and if you have real dev accounts report them to apple. thanks.

I'm having a problem with my music syncing to my iphone 5, now I tried dragging my music into my itunes, but to no avail it failed to complete syncing. I believe that this might be another problem with iOS 7 beta 3 being that I have never had such a problem with beta 2 or 1.

Cool! Music app now has animated "equalizer" bars next to the now playing song when viewing a list. Don't know if this was b1, 2 or 3, but I just found it now in b3.

It depends. If you need certain applications and they don't run, then it is of no use to you. Also think about instability and various crashes that can occur. I can't say that it is ready for daily use, but this is normal.
Beta 3 is better than beta 2 and I think in a month or so, with Beta 5 we will have a much smoother OS...

This is a sort of serious bug (sort of serious because not everybody will run into it). This has been happening to me since beta 2, and I just figured out what it is. When you have a folder with 15 pages of apps in it, you're not able to move any of your apps. In order for this to happen, each page of apps within the folder needs to be completely full (making it a folder with 135 apps in it). If there's 134 apps, I don't think the bug will affect you. Because you're not able to move any apps though, you can't take an app out of the folder to fix the bug. The bug spreads throughout your entire home screen, not just the folder that's full. I've found that the only way to fix this is to reset the home screen layout in the Settings app.

I haven't seen anybody else report that they ran into this, so I'm assuming not many people have reached the 135 app limit. If that's the case, could somebody please report this to Apple for me because I'm not able to use the bug report page? Thanks. :)

If you previously had a video playing in Safari then navigate to another page (no more video playing), then play some music from Music app and open Safari again, music stops playing.

Tried it for a few days. Definitely improvement over Beta 2 especially with the battery life but still needs more work from being a daily driver. Switched back to my Galaxy S4 for now :)

Anyone experiencing data freezing up randomly? Once or twice a day, nothing will load on my phone and it shows I'm on LTE, but it will show only one circle of service. A quick flip to airplane mode and back will restore full signal and data works again. Strange. This is in addition to the phone calls randomly not coming through.
