The highlighted item is automatically typed if you don't slide up.

Not much use though because the highlight always defaults to .com, I tried selecting .au to see if it would stick because I often need to type .com.au but alas it did not stick on .au.

At least we use .com.au and not .co, like the uk's .co.uk that's a bit miserable. It would be good if Apple could localise this behaviour

Is anyone else getting a problem where they cannot play all songs from an artist in their Music app? For example I have 9 albums from Linkin Park. When I go through Artists it's forcing me to pick a song from an album. When I pick a song from an album, it's only playing/shuffling songs from that album. I don't see anywhere where I can "Play All" like back in iOS6.

I can tell Siri to play "any" song from Linkin Park and she'll start playing all the songs by the artist. Is this the only way right now?

Anyone else getting this problem?

I really hope the "in call" green bar at the top of the screen doesn't remain the can't-read-it green color it is now. It literally hurts my eyes to read (yes, literally). Even more so since it pulses the text on and off.

Where does one go to submit feature requests? The control centre is good for turning off bluetooth / wifi but were is the option for cellular data ?

Noticed that when clicking the button for private browsing within the safari app, it no longer shows up in green font color but is just highlighted by a dark square

Beta 3 disabled track skip with bluetooth streaming to radio in my car.

I have no personal connection with the guy who did these icons. But I have a pair of eyes and can judge for myself if something looks good or is just cheap neon crap. Unfortunately, iOS 7 will be the downfall of Apple - it is so bad on so many levels and destroys what Apple was all about: Creating technology with a human touch.

Samsung much?

The clock icon in the Control Center looks nothing like a clock. It looks like a tachometer or something, like I should click it to get a system monitor or something. Whatever happened to two hands on a clock?

nah that's something that ios 7 does sometimes, it's a bug. you need to resync your phone with itunes on the computer and they'll move back onto your phone. annoying but eh

WOW! That would have been the end of iOS 7 for me. I kind of panicked when I read that first post. Thanks for the bug report. :)

Maybe because it is also a stopwatch and a timer?

"The guy?" <sigh>

I don't deny you have a pair of eyes and you can judge for yourself, but the problem is that your and my judgments (no matter how qualified or unqualified, it matters not) are SUBJECTIVE, and what you think and what I think of these icons are merely our opinions. This I'm sure isn't news for you, but for some it seems to be incomprehensible.

The bigger issue is that so many people have felt not only justified, but obligated to tell the world that anyone who thinks these icons aren't ugly is stupid or analytically retarded regarding graphic design. These same people I'm sure never got a glimpse or whiff of the brief (the document the artists are given which details for them what it is they are supposed to create) that the artists who created these icons received, and yet these same critics all seem to be to be so unabashed in their enthusiasm to denigrate the icons, the artists and anyone that doesn't agree that the icons are ugly.

I'm hugely pleased this stupid (non) issue is dying a fairly quick (and I hope painful!) death, after the immediate uproar when iOS 7 was first announced. We are all entitled to an opinion, but that doesn't make it fact, and further we mere members of a blog based on rumours are the least qualified to predict whether the future of Apple is doomed based on something so insignificant as icons in a new version of their very successful mobile OS.

Dude, dream on...

The only reason people continued to buy Apple stuff after Android had caught up on the technology side, was the much better UI. With iOS 7 that advantage is gone - it looks bland, unsophisticated and people will get bored with it very quickly. I can look at the old Safari icon for a minute and still find interesting details - with the new icon I'm bored in half a second. That the UI can be modernized without losing that love for detail was shown in the original concept I linked to (here it is again: http://www.behance.net/gallery/iPhone-6-An-edgy-concept/7617209).

Ive had some good product design ideas in the past (the new Mac Pro sucks, too), but he has no clue about UX/UI design and what it takes for people to create an emotional bond with a piece of technology. It's sad, but it's true....

Up until beta 2 there was a toggle to turn off Parallax under Accesibilty. Now it seems like it has changed to say Reduce Motion, instead.

My only complaint are the stupid, border-less, text-only buttons. Please for the love of God make buttons look like buttons again, as something that's not blue text.

I suppose you prefer to paint-by-numbers, and always stayed within the lines in coloring books as a kid?

The borderless buttons look much, much better, less detracting and gives you more viewing room, I happen to like it, a lot. ...It's pretty obvious the text is a button.

Other than that the new look and new functionality is great.

There is certainly no going back to the old now; the old UX looks ancient right now...

I know what you mean, I have iOS 7 on my iPhone 5 and iOS 5.1.1 on my iPad 1. The iPad 1 seems boring and/or ugly and outdated.

Instead of ultra light or regular, only light in this beta and maybe in the next beta regular.

I did like somehow ultra light or light. :)

For the first time since its release over a year ago?! :p I'll believe it when I see it.

I ended up switching to iCatcher, which has more options and is frequently updated (although not without its own quirks). We'll have to see how Podcasts is in the final release of iOS 7.

The only advantage for me to keep syncing with the computer is transferring large number of podcasts is much faster than syncing over WiFi. Like when subscribing to a new podcast and want to download all their old stuffs. Therefore being able to keep syncing with the desktop/notebook still has a big advantage over using other third-party products.

It's a shame about the fonts. Messages look bold now and everything else is starting to look more like ios 6. Why not keep the thinner font and provide an accessibility option for those that struggle to read it?

I agree on this.

Opacity Overlays Gone!!

Is anybody else having opacity issues with Notification and Control Center? No matter what background I use, whether from the stock list or a user generated image, when I invoke Control Center, I get a white overlay with no opacity to let the bottom layer show through.

Also when I invoke Notification Center, I get a full black pulldown with no opacity either. I didn't have this problem after downloading Beta 1 or Beta 2 but now after I updated with an OTA download, I'm having these issues. The opacity overlays is one of my favorite design elements of iOS7 and now I can't see it. Can anybody help?
