I've discovered a pretty serious bug. In the call log, if you try to swipe from right to left pretty quickly, it doesn't stop so you can delete the log. It goes in the info for that call. Pretty nervious

Try it. Sometimes it's OK though

Dont start your swipe at the very edge of the screen and instead start to the left of the "i" icon and slide to the left and it'll work.

So, "I'm swiping it wrong"? LOL

I recently discovered when you pinch out of a photo in the photos app, it closes. I am pretty sure it wasn't there in iOS 6, not sure if they introduced it with this beta or its been there since beta 1.

It's in iOS 6.

hodor123 is correct...previously this only worked on iPads, not iPhones. I often found myself trying to pinch out of a photo on my iPhone (5) for it to not work, because this does work on my 1st gen iPad (which only has iOS 5.1.1).

so, hodor123, yes, this was added w/iOS 7 beta..nice addition:D...should have been able to do this in iOS 6!

i just tried it and out of 30 times it went to info once. and that was after attempts to swipe as quickly as possible from the edge. i don't know anybody that uses their phone so intensely to swipe like this. i mean you'd have to be really angry and really hopped up on speed to swipe this fast normally.

and exactly how is this a "serious" bug and why it it make you nervous?? "oh noes i didn't want the bloody info screen because...uhhh...ummmm".. ?
dont mae a mountain ut of a mole hill. hell its not even a mole hill or any kind of a hill at all.

It's not like I'm swiping like mad, it's just as a bit faster than a normal swipe. And as I said sometimes it's OK, sometimes it isn't. In fact, most of the time is OK, but this was not the case in Beta 4, so it's definitely a BUG, no matter the speed of swipe

It's not a bug. Sometimes, while you're swiping (especially quickly), you're pressing with emphasis first right over the "I," and the phone recognizes this as a press, and opens info.

This is likely not a bug at all..And it's definitely not a "serious" issue that should make you nervous. I mean..what??

So how come sometimes its OK, sometimes is not? It's the same motion, same swipe and the same finger... even better, it's the same pattern of the swipe. And I even tested it by deliberately pressing the i while swiping, no info comes out

And how come it fixes itself when I go out of Phone...

Since you're the first to bring this up, I think this is an isolated issue.

How about you swipe from just to the left of the "I?"

..

It's a bug, or at least user experience inconsistency, but it's certainly far from anything major.

It actually is more of a design flaw than a bug. Basically, in other areas of iOS, the OS would detect the swipe motion and lock the info button so it wouldn't respond to a simultaneous press. But in this case, it's clear that the button is accessible mid-swipe. So, Apple just overlooked disabling it while swiping to delete an entry.

This is all over the place in iOS. One of the most irritating instances of this is when a developer or Apple forgets to lock a list of items from being tap-able while swiping to scroll. This results in an unintentional tap to open up an item in a list instead of continuing to scroll. When Apple first redesigned the App Store, this was actually a really common and annoying problem for me. They've since fixed it a long time ago.

Only time (and future releases) will tell if Apple notices this particular design flaw and decides to "fix it".

Now I had a most unusual experience twice I have never had before.

When I ended an incoming call I was returned the home screen. So far, so good. But... I noticed the red background on the number of unread emails had gone; it showed only a number. That was odd, but even odder was that all 4 subsequent pages with apps were empty... all icons, including maps, had gone. I could swipe through the pages all right, but nothing was there...
Everything else would work fine though; multi-tasking, notification board, search and all.

The first time I rebooted to solve it and the second time I opened an app from the multi-task bar, closed it, and everything was okay again.

See screenshot; showing page 3/5

[PS] Should anyone wonder about the background; got it from the iOS7 screenshots thread.

Hmmm... looks like icons go awry more often. Here the Agenda icon. Looks like it's the Video icon with the wallpaper main colour gradient info transposed over it...

Lock/unlock solved it..

my smart playlists are completely screwed up, iPhone doesn't want to update with iTunes live updating. Anyone else have this problem?

dude i had to swipe ALOT faster. and by faster i mean like a madman. with intensity. I realize people can vary in their swiping speed. but i can't imagine anyone swiping like that unintentionally. you really have to try to swipe this hard to make this "bug" popup.

either way, sure it might be a bug. but certainly can't be labeled serious. and i can't imagine why it would make you nervous.

nervous would be sending sms's to wrong contacts. nervous would be making random calls. nervous would be accidentally emailing browsing sessions to contacts. accidentally popping up contact info? definitely nothing to be nervous about.

While I didn't actually lose any of my mail, I lost the "list" of my different mail accounts in the "Mailboxes" column...was just showing "All Inboxes."

Hard restart brought them back to the normal view showing all inboxes and the list of accounts.

This was on an iPad 2

That happened to me last night on an iPhone 4S. I dismissed the mail app in the app switcher and then restarted it. That brought the list back.

just to post something positive for a change (and because I can't find a "things I like about iOS 7" thread):

I really like the new keypad for passcode (and phone)...I wasn't sure at first, but, then, once I got to using it, I found I could do it with my left hand as well as my right, AND I can do it (with my right/writing hand) without looking! I was not able to do this before! I think, maybe, the symmetry and space between keys is what helps me, no space before might be what kept me hitting the wrong keys when not looking. I think I position my hand a little differently, but, find this position gives me more range over the screen with my thumb. (iPhone 5)

(I don't have a "before" pic, but, here's a comparison pic I found: http://www.downloadios7.org/wp-content/uploads/iOS-7-passcode-lock.jpg)
