iOS 7 Beta 5 Bug Fixes and Changes

Lock button on iPhone 5 still spotty
Ever since Beta 3, I've found that my lock button only works sporadically. It works more often when I am in an app, less often when I am on the home screen. Sometimes it works if I hold it for a few seconds, sometimes it works with a tap, and sometimes not at all.
Still not fixed in beta 5... anyone else seeing this?

I don't know whether it works in emails (haven't tried it), but it definitely works in messages.
Certain pop-up dialogs not working
In the Good (for enterprise) app (which does enterprise e-mail) the most useful feature is a popup that suggests conference codes based on the contents of a calendar item. So I don't need to memorize a 9-digit number PLUS the phone number when dialing into a meeting!
In beta 1, this dialog got munged
In beta 3 it was fixed, but missing content
Still broken ... I am assuming this is an issue with the alert API not the app since everything else works in this app.

Messages and emails (and presumably other apps that use Contacts information, once they are updated for iOS7...?)

Can someone check if Slide to Unlock still works on whole screen or has it been changed ?

Wait, they seriously removed the sound for unlocking the phone?? I don't like that at all. It's gonna feel very weird and empty without it... It was always like a verification that you're ready to go or something. I hope that's just a bug.
I'm not sure I like the new Settings icons. It doesn't look clean anymore. Same with how they're still sticking to the thicker font, rather than the Light font. And I also liked the full-width "slide to answer" and "end call" buttons. Those looked so good.
Installing now. I sure miss the look of beta 2 though

Yes it does, but they have tweaked the music controls so you can use them without making the screen bounce.

idk why people are "surprised" by this..i was waiting for it. we know beta 4 was a week late, so now beta 5 came 1 week(+1 day) after beta 4 in order to stay on that 2 week schedule(so now its the same as if that dev center hacking never happened, they compensated for it by forcing beta 5 out now instead of next monday).
also with that "skype working" does it stop crashing on recents tab now? & yes there is a chance apps can be fixed between betas without the app being updated, in ios 6 beta 1 the app okcupid crashed on startup, beta 2 & later it worked fine. that same thing happened again with ios 7 beta 4 with the app textnow, before beta 4 instant crash, beta 4 it completely works.

anyone noticed the calendar in the notification centre shows for the next few hours? or was this in beta 4?
This has been like this in all the beta's so far, as this really annoys me. I'd really like to see the full day, not just the next couple of hours. It be nice to look at this in the morning at 7am, and see what I have going on in the evening, not just between 7am and noon.
I agree. I would also like to see all day events in the today view. I don't understand why they are not being displayed.
We don't know that beta 4 was a week late, and in fact there's more "evidence" to show that it wasn't.
If today's release actually support any pattern/theory that has been out there at all, it's that there is no pattern--Apple will release updates when Apple decides to release them. Any guessing or digging through numerology or calling psychics is completely inconsequential as it has nothing to do with reality at all.
i've not noticed this in the betas before, i just got an email (using official gmail app) and a few Facebook messages, these appear on my lock screen
. i check Facebook and gmail on my laptop
and now the notifications disappear from my lock screen and the apps have no badge on them
.anyone else notice this?
i have an iPhone 5 with b5 just installed.
I have just switched it off and back on and it took about 3 minutes for the phone to boot up. just stayed on the Apple boot logo for 3 minutes the eventually fired up.
Can someone else switch the phone off and back on to see if it is just mine.
If so I will do a full clean install.
