I've alway's stuck with apple but they are slipping in the mobile world samsung are taking over surely it can't be that hard to give people their own option's to customise as you would with jailbreaking.

I'm not angry about it at all. Some may find the search page useful but for me I'd just as soon be able to turn it off completely. I never use it but keep ending up on it when I swipe left one too many times. I'm really looking forward to the search being a pull down from the top of the screen. It will be out of my way.

I agree, whenever I'm quickly switching apps it annoys me to accidentally hit the home button one too many times and get prompted with the spotlight search!

Apple hasn't provided a downgrade path for any other iOS; why would they start now?

I would love to be able to try out iOS 7 when it's released, if I could go back to iOS 6. It's probably doable via some third party utilities, but I never know if I can trust those.

You don't need a third party utility, however, I may be wrong about being able to do this once iOS 7 is in public release. At that point, you can go back, but it would probably require jailbreaking the phone, so I was incorrect.

For those with iOS 7 beta wanting to go back to iOS 6, the method for downgrading is fairly easy to find, even videos, and no, it doesn't involve jailbreaking or any special utilities....

The new beta 5 doesn't have a tone anymore when its unlocked... Not nice actually, in my opinion...

I'm actually beginning to wonder...if they have done away with skewmorphism (whatever the ef you call it)...maybe they will change the "switch" lock sounds as they are also skewmorphic?...they're just setting us up for it by making no sound at the beginning in beta 5...I doubt they just forgot to keep the sound in there when they sped up the opening animation, so, perhaps beta 6 or the GM will have new lock sounds? ...personally, I'd like new sounds...actually, I'd like to be able to choose all my sounds, notifications, personal text tones for my contacts, the "bubble" sounds while texting, everything, not just the ones they already have in settings.

For the naysayers that think this is just a coat of paint. Get in a room with another iOS 7 user and turn Airdrop on.

I am floored by the fluid, fast, simplicity of sharing.

nice to know. I've tried w/Mac, but, not enabled yet (AirDrop has been available w/OS X Lion & Mtn Lion).

i don't understand white boot screen purpose on my iPhone5 - drain your battery fast when booting - and it not look good with black apple in the middle...

if apple logo will be grey, then ok, but anyway - why? :)

---
iOS 7 design. For now it looks like Windows 8 flat design - no difference.
i don't want to say that - but i'm disappointed in apple designers who created this kind of look - idea of some elements are great and exelent, but there must be lot to do to take off similarity with win8

Why there is still no landscape mode for playing music videos in the MUSIC App?

It works good in iOS 6.

Where is it?

Not sure what's behind the boot screen design change (at least as far as white iPhone 5's seem to be concerned), and although it might be somewhat bright and/or annoying in some way, the battery usage shouldn't be any different with or without it.

How's the battery life on Beta 5? I heard its as good as its going to get...is that true?

Twice now (under Beta 5). I have gotten about 11 hours on a charge (going from 100% down to 20%) with about 4 hours of actively using it on my iPhone 4s. (Email, web browser, Facebook, maps, weather, messages)

I keep hearing more and more that the battery life will be improved. Hope that pans out when I get my new iPhone 5S.:D

No, «Neue Helvetica» (Light), to be exact.
