tried the following:

- hard reboot
- take out sim then reboot, put sim back in after
- do above and also reset network settings
- toggle airplane mode

those are only things that come to mind right now other than reset, which I'm not doing.

Full restore didn't work. For the first time ever, Apple totally f'ed up my brand new phone.

I don't understand how this can only be affecting certain phones?

Mine is a 64GB iPhone 6 on EE UK. Updated via iTunes.

As I said earlier, only issue now is, when I attach phone to iTunes it asks me to update when I've already done it.

Would be useful if people could state which device, which network and which location they're in.

This is utterly complete bs on apples part. How dare they do this kind of f up after all the crap people have been going through just to buy their dam phone? Are you kidding me? Update to fix all the features we already f'ed up on only to lose the ability to call from the phone it self??? I mean is this a joke???

iOS 8.0.1 has just killed my cellular connectivity

iPhone 6, no more cellular, touchID also broken.

Not good, Apple!

No service on my still! Fingerprint sensor not working! Im talking on the chat with applecare support! GRRRRR :mad::mad::mad:

Out of total curiosity, as I wait for my only chat person to scramble to find out what's going on, does anyone know if Apple's chat support people are US based like their phone support? Or are they outsources somewhere?
