FaceTime and iCloud are messed up completely FaceTime doesn't work until reboot. and whern you reboot iCloud asks to sign in every time.

Probably because CC doesn't display any personal content like notifications do so it's not so much a security issue.
Does that mean they removed the option to disable it from the lock screen (which wouldn't be good), or the option is elsewhere (which is kind of odd now that it seems that they moved all the lock scren options into that area)?

OK thanks!
there was an Option on the main screen for settings under notification center to enable/disable on lockscreen (i guess they removed it)
Seems like they moved it, rather than removed it.

It's in the same place in Settings.

Well, they renamed Notification Center to Notifications on the main Settings page so they had to move it along with Today View settings. I think under Passcode makes sense.

Found out why Siri keeps changing back to Voice Control

I have discovered that if you use Bluetooth in certain cars, then disconnect Bluetooth or turn the car off, you will lose all internet connection through your phone service data plan (not WIFI) until you reboot the phone. There is a setting in IOS 8 that will automatically trigger voice control if the phone cannot detect an internet connection. I bet if you turned off WI-FI, you are no longer able to get online and get emails. This is a MAJOR bug which i already submitted to Apple.

Has anyone noticed when posting a pic on Instagram the pic always zooms in or moves to the side?

Also when you crop a pic into square mode it doesn't truly stay square... it reverts to it's original size.

Well bit the bullet and went back to 7.1.1 and it seems SO stable and fast after this beta. Makes you appreciate released firmware. :) Hoping B3 brings with it some more stability. Typically I am ok with the betas but this one was really not ready for primetime. More like an Alpha. But I am looking forward to iOS8, other than the changes they made to photos. That was a mess and never could find all my pics other that that "years, moments, collections" options. Sure is nice to just hit albums and Camera roll and bam there are all your pics to scroll through if you want. Hope they improve on that before release.

Other small issues were with contacts app, and random lag and lockups. Lock screen not unlock sometimes. Press power during a call disconnects call sometimes. Mail notification silent sometimes (may work after a reboot for a few emails). Video playback in Safari severe lag playing and with control such as pause and play. Most of these things will most certainly be addressed as it gets optimized and closer to release. Definitely looking forward to what the next betas bring to the table. And hope they dont kill camera roll !!

Has anyone else come across this bug also?

When using quick reply the message / screen goes dark and completely removes all text you imputed... resulting in you having to slide it and quick reply again. I don't recall it happening in the first beta.

Message Bug(s)

Can someone please check your Message app in a group message, do you see the "Leave this discussion" and can you change the "Subject"/Group name? I can't do either anymore in Beta 2.

Also, noticed if I click the mic on they keyboard and don't say anything but hit done the keyboard gets extremely loud.

Another leftover beta 1 bug. It gets pretty annoying to sign in every time you reboot.

----------

Is anyone has SIRI--> language (null) issue??

No. Mine shows all the languages.

Have you submitted that bug to Apple?
I submitted it.

----------

From the lock screen, swipe up CC and launch Calculator. It crashes when you press the first number. Works fine if you do this with the phone unlocked though.

*** scratch that. A reboot fixed problem.

Good.

Not sure if that other bug was for me, the calculator one but submit that too! It's still a bug, the fact you need to reboot to fix it.

The worst bug I've encountered so far seems to be Messages crashing whenever you toggle the predictive keyboard.

Aside from that, I also get Safari crashes whenever a shortcut phrase replaces some text with an emoji.
