Sunking, didn't know you were testing. Thanks for feedback on Safari. I don't see the spinning wheel. But, copy/paste sucked on this forum. Problem is, I use Mercury Browser. So, don't know if it is still the bug, or user error--;)

I may try to use this forum thru Tapatalk. I have it there, but seldom use it since I left XDA.

I'm not testing mate, I tried but only the OSX beta is available.
I was asking if the bugs/issues have been fixed.

I'm currently running iOS 8.3 public beta on my 6 Plus and felt in love with it! The animations are smoother, safari tab reloading issue even though still occurs but is now less severe. If iOs 9 can improve this even more, I'll stick with iOS for a loonggg time.

How about you guys? Happy with iOS 8.3?

It still has bugs that become tiresome. There is at least one bug that was fixed in 8.2: transparent keys when using spotlight when translucency is off. After about a day of use the OS becomes a little laggy and I have to reboot. I didn't see the spinning wheel in the last 8.2 beta, but I've seen it a handful of times in the latest 8.3 beta.

I've given up using translucency. The OS can't rotate a keyboard smoothly. This is pathetic.

Safari spinning data wheel still there most of the time?
Copy/paste bug in Safari fixed?

The spinning wheel rarely occurs, but it does happen.

Aside from a few bugs I've encountered, the 8.3 beta has made a big difference in smoothness on my iPod touch. It's not as laggy scrolling through albums/artists, it's quicker to play music when selecting a song etc.

I installed iOS 8.3 public beta on my 6 plus and it has been buttery smooth. In fact it feels like a stable build compared to iOS 8.0 which felt like a beta version . Third party keyboards work much better now . The overall fluidity is what I would expect from apple on the first place on my brand new 6 plus. Looks like it took apple six months to get it right !!!

I wanna share my experience with you guys. I've tested 8.3 beta 3 on the iPhone 4s, iPad 3 and iPad mini (first gen).

8.3 was a god-send for the iPhone 4s, everything is almost butter smooth, and my apps ran with absolutely zero problem. I'm not a heavy safari user though, it's possible that 4s on iOS 8.3 still lags a lot in Safari.

iPad mini performance was ok, better than earlier versions of iOS 8, the animations are almost smooth, yet you still got a feel that the hardware is underperforming from time to time.

iPad 3 lags a lot, a little better than previous versions of iOS 8, yet not I would call "OK" performance, Apple really should've let iPad 3 stayed on iOS 6 IMO.

I completely agree. Everything is so much smoother and the battery life on my 6 is noticeably better. I used to get 6-7 hours of daily use, but now it's more like 8-9. Also good news for those who like to use third party keyboard like me, it's much more stable than before. There're still issues like writing review in the app store and keyboard reverting to stock one in Message, but the most annoying bug where the keyboard doesn't come up hasn't occurred on my phone yet.

Wow works amazing on my 5. Feels a lot snappier.

I compared it with my 5 on 8.1.3 and the notification centre drops down much faster. Its almost instantaneous on the 8.3 public beta. Some apps open quicker, some a little slower still. Texting is faster and more fluid.

Still laggy animations in some areas but a marked improvement. Hopefully apple can keep tweaking it to ios7-level performance

Nice to see you both agree. As always, contrasting opinions. I'll just wait until it's on my device before coming to a conclusion.

I agree, I haven't actually used it yet, it's just that I'm taking these positive reactions with a grain of salt.

I have not been able to scroll through my Artists list(in the Music app) without an annoying stuttering on any iOS 8 build.

Not on my iPhone 6, and not on other idevices i have tested ranging from iPads to iPhone 6+ to iPhone 4s. It always stutters when scrolling like there are 'bumps' in the screen.

Hence it would be a great relief if that has been fixed on iOS 8. Even my iPhone 3Gs scrolling through Artists view is stutter free.

Just tested on my iPhone 6 running 8.3. The "jitters" are still there, unfortunately.

Good to hear! I'm currently running 8.1.2 (jailbroken) on my iPad mini 2 and don't have too many issues with it. I'm simply bored with the jailbreak and have experienced slow downs and issues that seem to be iOS 8.1 related. I'm tempted to move to 8.3 once / if I get invited.

Don't get too excited! I have iPad mini 2 with iOS 8.3 public beta 2, and the performance might be slightly better, but it is still laggy. There are still choppy animations for keyboard pop-up when opening spotlight, changing orientation in spotlight, safari favourite menu scrolling lag, and occational lag when exiting apps. Apple didn't fix much animation glitch for iPads yet. I think we might have to wait till iOS 9.
