You think they will launch in 100 countries but not in Germany?

Heise.de claimed that they hears from Apple that it will launch in Germany on June 30. They are usually reliable about this kind of stuff.
yeah, I know. The point is this launch is really confusing because they are launching like three things which are branded Apple Music. You have Beats1, Connect, Subscription (Streaming + Match). The Beats1 + Connect part will almost certainly launch in 100 countries. Not convinced about the streaming part, though. Germany landing page still says "Kommt bald" which is really strange if it's supposed to launch in 2 days. We'll see.

Look at the apple website in your country when there's a music button and there is comming soon then this country will get apple music on June 30!

I will continue to believe that Apple Music is not coming to Canada until there is an official announcement from Apple as we got shafted before from Apple (iTunes radio for one). I would suggest that everyone else outside of the USA don't get excited since they could be in for a big letdown on Tuesday.

No, I doubt they will launch only a part of the package, because even certain essential parts of Apple Connect depend on an Apple Music membership. If they are not going to launch the whole package in "100 countries" on Tuesday, then they have managed to miscommunicate this in a major way.

Eh, I have a US iTunes account anyway and had for years. I've found it's the best way to buy stuff/use Apple services, since it has more music than my store and I can use iTunes Radio. I have a secondary Apple ID for my country but that's only for subscribing to the dev program.

I doubt AM doesn't launch in 100 countries on Tuesday though.

Exactly, actually they only announced Beats 1 to start in all these places, not Apple Music. But I hope they were just unprecise on that.

But we all know what happened with iTunes Radio, right?

It surely is a difference if only the U.S. page says available 30th of June, while for all other countries it just states coming soon, right? Nevertheless we will find out soon.

This is some funny stuff. Apple said during the keynote that it'll be available in over 100 countries at launch. You don't believe Canada will get Beats 1 on the 30th? Wow.

Nope, look what happened to iTunes radio. Apple said it was coming...and it never came. When it comes to music services & new features, Canada seems to be the last country to get it. Look at Google music, that never came for a long time until it finally came. I bet that service was available in 100 countries before Canada got it.

I have Sonos and use Spotify with it (obviously) but as new features have been added to Spotify they haven't been added to Spotify section of Sonos app which is disappointing. And Sonos have no plans to support Spotify Connect which is also disappointing.

Thing is I get a discount with Spotify and generally like it, so Apple Music will have to be pretty decent for me to pay the extra. I also share it with family and it works well, even with the limitations.

Edit: Just searched and read that Apple Music will come to Sonos at some point. So that's great news.
Where have they said it will come to Sonos?

Trent went to Jony Ives University for speaking, heh.

I do think it's cool Apple may allow music to bloom again. We are in such a stale zone right now. The big labels are only backing the "115% trendy" music and even then no where near enough. They want or require too much money to make it happen. So many great artists are languishing. I hope this allows everyone's art to finally evolve and explode.

So, this is not official enough?!

If not, then you're just being daft. They cannot release part of it. It's all or nothing. Fully integrated.

See the link above. Apple clearly state Apple Music will launch on 30th June.

As for iTunes Radio, that was obviously put on hold to do this.

iTunes Radio is part of it, In the radio tab, you get what was iTunes Radio, plus Beats1
