I always wait a few days before applying major iOS upgrades to avoid the rush and long download times. Smaller updates haven't been as problematic, but I think this one will attract more attention on launch day. Looking forward to exploring the new music service, though.

But still says coming soon. Until that changes to a date or if we get a definite list of countries getting the service on Tuesday, I'm still expecting Canada to get shafted.

The UK says the same. We're getting it Tuesday, so will Canada. They're launching in 100 countries on 30th June. You're being ridiculous if you think Canada will not be one of them....

Maybe this link will put your mind at ease....

So if you subscribe to Apple Music you don't need an iTunes Match subscription. But will Apple still offer iTunes Match for those who choose not to subscribe to Apple Music?

Did people miss the bigger deal, that Eddy Cue says in iOS 9 Apple Music will allow you to upload 100K songs? That's huge. Isn't Google Play Music only 50K songs?
That's the songs that Apple does not already have. I have hundreds more CDs than most people and my collection once ripped into iTunes is only 9k songs. Very few of those Apple doesn't have. Non-issue to almost anyone.

That's great news, even better than Beats 1 or Apple Music's arrival. I've been toying the line with the iTunes Match limit for some time, so I'll be glad when they finally expand the number of songs they allow. Google recently went from 20k to 50k, but their service is free.

How big is your entire collection?

The timeline seems poor at best. With a single hour for people to update to 8.4, that seems far too short. What is more likely to result is that many will want to try something that is not there, and be turned off by the lack of results.

Probably need at least a day to get phones up to 8.4.

You didn't mention the slowdown as the site would probably be overloaded.

But I don't care when I update since I really don't care about this Beats thing.

But if you subscribe to Apple music you don't also have to pay for iTunes Match.

Apple Music duplicates iTunes Match, but as Apple says, they're independent, which means you pay separately. I've cancelled my iTunes Match, so it won't renew, but sadly will have a period of crossover from what's been paid already.

What I am wondering is what will happen to iTunes Radio. I got it commercial free for being an iTunes Match Subscriber.
