iOS 8 beta 1 bug thread

iPad Air, backup

Tapping the clock in Safari doesn't snap you back to the top of the page. Haven't tried it in any other app.
 
I have installed this beta (it's my first beta) and anyone of my apps works.
Everytime I tried to open mailbox, facebook, etc... it break down. is it normal? Can I solve it reinstalling each app again intead of backup?
I suppose it is because the actual versions are not supported and the developers should update their apps.
My question is... do they used to update their app as soon as possible or it will continue this way until the official release?

It's a beta, it's normal for apps to crash at this early stage!

Reinstalling an app would not make a difference.
 
For email I have a couple issues...

With exchange accounts, even after Ive toggled push off and on, I still don't always receive emails until I sync manually.

Also, my emails sporadically show up on my lock screen. I have all email accounts set to show on lock screen, but maybe 1/10 actually do. Even then, they don't wake up the phone when I hear the notification go off.
 
So SiriusXM, which was paused in the background for an hour, spontaneously unpaused and blasted at full volume while at work. Absolutely did nothing to set this off and the screen froze and the side volume buttons were unresponsive! Kill your streaming music instead of pausing!
 
Music App Crashes

I have a iPhone 5S and it seems the music app crashes on my phone when a new song starts to play.

Phone syncs fine though tried as new Phone restore in debug mode deleted everything in itunes_control and restored still the same this was happening on my mac..tried on a windows desktop and iTunes sees as other as well

Any ideas?

well read on other forums..happening to them as well after beta 1.. guess I have to wait for update..

While it's normal for some apps not to work with betas it shouldn't be happening to all of them. If that's the case you should try reinstalling the beta to see if it that makes a difference.
 
Might have been posted already but when waking my phone by pressing the power button I sometimes get a screen that says "Calling" rather than just the time and date popping up. It isn't actually calling anyone. iPhone 5s on AT&T
 
I don't know if someone has mentioned this already - but push email seems to not be working.....

My iCloud and Hotmail emails aren't being pushed even though I have it turned on. I've had to manually fetch everything.

Yeah I observed this as well. Neither my Yahoo nor Exchange accounts push emails through.
 
Camera Flash issue

Iphone 5 when flash is on or set to auto in low light conditions will flash twice..second flash after shutter..anyone else??
 
- Resizing for double height status bars is very patchy, with lots of buttons in the Settings and other stock apps being obscured by them.

- If you lock the screen with the power button, then turn on the screen with the power button, the lock screen status bar text is normal size and if you have a double height status bar that will be visible there too. If you turn on the screen with the home button, you get the (I think correct) iOS 7 style- bigger text and only single height.

- [Related note, I really wish they would ditch double height for Personal Hotspot, especially as they are pushing automatic ones. I totally get it for active calls cos a quick link back to the call is very handy. What's so urgent about a Hotspot? Jesus. Gets in the way and takes away tap-to-scroll.]

- Going back in the Settings app always takes you to the top of the Settings.
 
Has there been any change to the default artists pictures in the music app, and there is a bug in ios 7 that shows only the artist name and alum and not it's default picture, is that fixed??
 
Not sure if anyone mentioned but when sharing a link via Safari, browser just hangs and becomes unresponsive.
 
On my iPhone 5, the keyboard in Safari doesn't automatically revert back to the letters after inserting punctuation. I also can't hold down backspace past the beginning of a word using the Safari keyboard- it just stops and I have to pick my finger up to keep deleting letters. I also had a strange bug where the App Store kept going back to the "Featured" tab every five seconds or so, but that seemed to be a one-time thing.

I have a retina iPad mini and I'm having the same problem. Sometimes toggling wifi off and back on works, but it still just craps out again a minute or two later.

The new iOS version 8, I discovered the phone lock function on time.
If you enter 8x consecutive incorrect password when odomikaní, locked up iPhone to 1 minute.
Consequently, if you enter the wrong password 1x, iPhone hangs for 5 minutes.
Do you know someone like this goes on?
 
To get the emergency ID info to show on the lock screen, you have to click Emergency, and it will be in the bottom left corner.

I'm having similar keyboard issues on my 5C.
