It seems like with IOS7 we always had a confirmation from the carriers a little bit before a beta dropped... Except for that surprise Friday afternoon release.

No word.. My guess no beta today

BGR wasn't always right so those weren't very reliable.

Try not to ruin it for us yet. Please? :)

You really can't go by this at all. It's been two weeks. Well, 15 days. I have a inkling it will drop at 1800 BST.

Anyway, you don't believe that guy that posted the "release notes"?!?!

There were some "guesses" that weren't there always, and weren't even sometimes right anyway. So basically there wasn't any confirmation really beyond any typical guessing, which isn't any more right or wrong than any other guessing.

I could only suffer the beta for a week before going back to 7.1.

I have to say I really liked the message respond in notification centre and miss having it.

You mean the drag down for quick reply?

Definitely me. Only thing holding me back is the fact that iCloud data is now iOS 8 only

Do you have a local backup on your computer? A few years ago, I started taking the backups on my laptop out of the appdata folder and organizing them separately. I know have my most recent 7.1.1 backup and 8b1 backup saved in separate folders so that I can easily restore in itunes

No I have no problem with backups. What I'm saying is that if you open an app that uses iCloud save data in iOS 8, the data that's created in that app is no longer available in iOS 7
