Can anyone confirm if they've added ability to schedule Do Not Disturb per day and not a one schedule fits all in this release?

You can only set the start and end time. No option for this to be different on different days of the week.

When on the multitasking screen where you double click the home button, does anyone have an idea how to enable pic icons of our recent contacts? Been just showing their initials the past two betas.

I think it only works for photos taken with iPhone/iPad or Mac? With one of mine I opened up a picture of the person, took a screenshot and then used the screenshot as the contact photo and that fixed it. Oh wait, maybe that was what I did for full screen caller ID. Well, try it anyway.

Update issue !!!

Some one please help here. I know there's a work around to download the ipsw and install it from iTunes. But that takes almost 1.6 Gigs data.

You need to be plugged in but really need to be connected to wifi. Looks like you are on the EDGE network with that slow if speeds it's not going to be able to do anything.

Am I the only one that has NEVER gotten Handoff to work? I have an iPhone 5, the latest Retina MBP, I have enabled bluetooth on both devices, enabled the handoff setting in OSX and iOS, am currently using the same versions (iOS 8 beta 3 and OSX 10.10 DP3) and it has still never worked.

I get the green text messages in the Messages app and use that to communicate all the time, but I do not get the leftmost icon in the taskbar or anything in the bottom left of iOS when I am working on a task that should work on both devices (Safari, Mail, etc.)

I really hope someone has an answer for this, or at least confirmation that I'm not an idiot and other people are having the same problem.

It's a beta.

File a bug with Apple.

Sounds like a major problem. You should file a bug with Apple.

Another tweak I noticed is when you have a FaceTime call it shows how much data is used now... Not sure if beta 1 or 2 showed that

iOS8 Beta 3 also allows users to manage their Apple ID under iCoiud settings. Just as if they were on appleid.apple.com

I've been giving feedback on this several times. that we need schedule for multiple days and multiple time. I've lost hope anyway. Its half baked solution.

Hopefully Apple does this right, since there were hacks in the past..

ALl of this stuff, including Hand off, Apple can only do it because iCloud is required...

Of course there is always a catch...

Tons of issues fixed for me in b3 (on an unlocked VZW iPhone 5):
-Can now create new messages without Messages crashing
-Can now dictate messages via the keyboard without Messages crashing
-Safari is a lot faster
-I can answer phone calls 100% of the time without freezes/lag
-The lock screen isn't intermittent (e.g., I don't have to mash power 10x to get it to show up)
-In Messages, keyboard clicks are no longer randomly toggled on/off
-In Messages, autocorrect seems to work most of the time, as does predictive text
-Photos doesn't seem to be crashing randomly anymore
-Camera app is a little snappier

One issue I found was when I tap a link inside of a Facebook message, the app crashes. Very minor annoyance considering the vast array of issues that I've seen fixed.

My favorite: although my late 2011 Macbook Pro HRAG does not have low-energy bluetooth (yes I checked), when I loaded up Yosemite b3 I was able to take a phone call from on my computer. I felt pretty cool.

Any idea on the public beta of Yosemite ? Has anyone got it ?

Seems pretty stable to me. I obviously haven't used it extensively, but aside from a few Quicklook crashes when I wasn't even using it and stubborn Mail messages not being deleted the first time, apps I use often like Transmission, Photoshop CC 2014, Safari, Mail, The Unarchiver, Little Snitch, Beamer, Sonos, and Reeder seem to work just fine.

So have I...if only more people could suggest this.

It seems if you have a life during the weekends and don't go to bed the same time on fri/sat night you're penalised for this.
