I don't think it's iOS 8 that is causing issues, everything seems to stem from iTunes which is what gave me problem after problem.

Yeah, it's not like extensions, new keyboards, handoff, continuity, and quick replies/actionable notifications are not some of the biggest changes to iOS in some time. But I guess since the icons still look the same then probably nothing really changed.

Really no need to immediately resort to cynicism. Based on my current usage I haven't seen too many changes. The new predictive keyboard I was looking forward to doesn't even support Dutch per example and if Siri is any indication it probably won't for the next four years. Hopefully I'll notice more of a difference with iOS 8 once apps are updated.

One great thing about iOS 8 is that it supports various extensions, including custom keyboards. So, you're right, the built-in keyboard does not support Dutch (or Polish, unfortunately), but it is now possible for developers to create custom keyboards! You may be pleasantly surprised by a bunch of such extensions appearing after the official iOS 8 release.

Yeah I'm looking forward to Swipe. Apple needs to step things up though in the localisation department.
