I refuse to watch any movies after the godfather 2, because that was the best movie ever made and i wont watch anything else until hollywood goes back to making movies like godfather 2.

Just bring the signal bars back and make the icons consistent. If Yahoo can make their icons consistent on Yahoo.com, so can Apple. They are all over the place with their design icons.

Ughhhh, hopefully these threads will go away when the iOS 8 forum opens.

Oh no they won't ! We'll get treads saying how awful iOS8 is and please bring back iOS7 ;):D

By the way , I love iOS7 but I do wish they would bring back the full screen caller id ....

Seriously, are we still here?

Some folks won't give up. They don't understand they are a minority. Vocal but still a minority.

Apple might one day allow for official themes like some of the jailbreakers make but one shouldn't expect it. And even if themes do exist it's likely to be more accessibility related. Not just the invert colors but perhaps black/white etc for various visual concerns. All still based off the iOS 7 type look

You mean as caller ID? Those never went away.

I'm talking about this. 7.0.6 is on the left, 7.1 is on the right.

Its not going to happen, better or worse, Apple moves forward, they don't go back. The skeumorphism is the main reason I was drawn into iOS. Now that its gone, Im saving a lot of money not wanting any of the new hardware.

Something I can't understand though is the signal bars, much less minimalistic, very non-apple like

After using this mess on my iPad and iPhone 5, I really think that if they went back to where they were before, it would be a huge step forward, not backward. I can't remember how many times I've been interacting with some app and I don't know what to do. Then suddenly, "OH! That mess of light gray text on white at the bottom of the screen is a scroll wheel! Right!". That sense of confusion and "how the f%%% was I supposed to know that!" factor never happened before to me, and I've used iOS since it was on my 1st gen iPod Touch.

Apple doesn't pull feedback from these forums... Apple more than likely doesn't even pull feedback from it's own forums...

However, there exists a magical place where they DO pull feedback... It's pretty hard to find though. You have to type in "apple" and "feedback" into a search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask, etc...) and then click on one of the top two results. Wait, that's actually not that hard to find...

Apple.com/Feedback

The more people go there and ask for the same thing, the more likely it is that Apple will do so. It's really not a hard concept.

YOU PEOPLE ARE ANNOYING. I'm honestly happy with iOS7, iOS 6 look feels old and native to me. Also, it's been so long stop the whining. I recognise your right to voice your opinion but gosh you're annoying.

I hate iOS 7. I refused to upgrade my iPad 3 to that garbage. I have read numerous complaints on iOS 7. I am hoping beyond hope that Apple restores the look and feel that iOS 6 had. Better yet, bring back the guy that was fired. He knew his ****. I also cannot stand that iOS 7 uses dots for the signal bar. I have and never will accept this. Anyone else hoping that iOS 8 restores the classic iphone look? I wish iOS 6 was available for the iphone 5S with all its features. UGH.

I love iOS 7. I refused to not upgrade my devices from the iOS 6 garbage to iOS 7. I have read numerous complaints on iOS 6. I am hoping beyond hope that Apple continues the iOS 7 road. Better yet, let Ive decide even more at the development of iOS 8. I know he's ******* better than the guy that was fired. I also cannot stand that some people can hate signal bars. I have never accepted this. Anyone else hoping that iOS 8 will contain an improved iOS 7 look and feel? I wish the iOS 7 look and feel would have been available from the beginning - with all its features. UGH

Seriously, I don't understand how anyone can like iOS 6 more than iOS 7. Maybe few aspects from it, but not the entire OS. And please signals bars, are you joking?!?

How do we know that Apple really pays much or even really any attention to what's submitted through their feedback channel? How do we know that nothing from their own forums or other places on the web doesn't have any role in any thing at all? Seems like while there's more likelihood that their feedback channel potentially carries some or more weight, there's really nothing to actually indicate much of it one way or another in the end.

iSO 7

i kinda like the new idea of iso7 but i just wish apple would let us customize our phones the way we want them

I'm ok with iOS7 except for a few glaring faults; ie battery life, safari crashes, app crashes and a rare-ish notification centre bug. If they sort all these then I'll be happy with it. I'm not too keen on the signal strength dots but they're a fairly trivial thing.
I had a play with my partner's HTC One M8 and although I like the performance of it, blimey Android is horrible. What a clunky and unintuitive o/s. I was pretty happy to return to my buggy iPhone 5 to be honest :-o

Oh dont get me wrong, I agree with you 100%. iOS 7 was made as if you were on the design team. There is no simplicity to it at all. Swiping to go back will never make sense to me, that's the way I swipe to delete stuff. Its just confusing making such a drastic change with no guidance. Im happy with my iPhone 5 on iOS 6, and I will keep it until I break it or something. Id give Apple a little more slack with iOS 7 if they allowed firmware downgrades, I had to sell my iPads because I wanted to try iOS 7 and I immediately regret it. But back on point, Apple doesnt go back. With the whole Google Maps-Apple Maps ordeal, it only made sense to go back to google maps, but they persist on going forward with whatever choice they make.

This post is just as annoying as any other

iOS7 is 10 times better than iOS6. As far as bars vs dots, who cares? My god, it you want true signal strength just go into field test mode and have it show strength in dBm. Really, dots vs bars? That's what gets some people's undies in a bundie? Really?

Well, you're saying that iOS7 is ten times better than iOS6....and yet in the main, the only difference is aesthetics.
If someone dislikes the look of the signal dots, they're being strange?
