iOS League - 2011 MR NFL Fantasy Football

Okay, so at this point we've got 15 interested players. That means we definitely have enough to run two 8 team leagues. There's four veterans yet to check in which means we could possibly have two 10 team leagues if they do want to play. Either way, we've still got room for some new players. I don't like to run leagues with greater than 12 teams because the player pool gets really thin. With that being said we've for sure got four spots left for new players and possibly more if some of the veterans don't come back.
This is going to be a fun year judging by all the NFL player moves going on with the shortened Fee Agency period.

If he is willing to sign up to MR and participate in the thread then sure. Call me a purist, but it is an MR league after all. Like I said above the fun of a forum league is that everyone can come into the thread and participate/communicate. That's also why we ask for active managers. Take care of your team and come into the thread and interact with the league.
The ONLY thing I ask for is if we could have the draft scheduled anytime after the 14th of August. I live and work in Greece, which is seven hours ahead of the east coast, so its a little difficult for me to make a draft, unless its a saturday night/sunday night here. I am taking two weeks vacation from the 15th to the 29th, so that is why I am asking if we could do it after the 14th. Thank you!
Being an Englandshirer, draft timings is also a potential issue for me. Fortunately, in the league I was in last season things were able to be sorted so the draft took place in the US afternoon, late evening Jaffa time.
If something similar happens here that would be fantastic, I don't know how mscriv is planning on divvying up the teams between the two Leagues but perhaps draft availability could be considered?
We'll do our best to accomodate everyone in the draft and that's a great idea Jaffa. However, that being said, I've done this long enough to know that not everyone can be accomodated. I'll do my best, but once the draft is set if you can't make it then please try to get a trusted friend or someone to stand in for you.
I'd suggest we not draft until maybe the last week of August. Some may think that's cutting it close, but with the lockout there are going to be a lot of player moves all the way up until the start of the season. I'd like to allow as much time as possible for that stuff to settle down.

The last full weekend in August would still give us the best part of a fortnight before the season starts, right? I wouldn't have thought that would be an issue, especially with a lot of player issues being up in the air at the moment.
Are there any custom rules/changes from last year we should be aware of?
I don't think so, we'll poll the finalized group of players to see how everyone wants to handle ties, but outside of that I can't really think of anything. As usual we'll have a waiver wire schedule and a trade deadline. I haven't logged into the league on ESPN yet, but I doubt they have made any major changes to anything.

And two more have expressed interest since then so if everyone who has posted is committed then we have enough for two leagues an 8 team and a 10 team. I'm still going to give the 4 remaining vets a few more days to say they want to play. Additionally, we've still got room for 2 new players.

We always use ESPN's fantasy software. I'm not sure what you mean by which league? I'm envisioning everything will be the same as last year in terms of roster positions and general rules. You do remember last year right? If my memory is correct you lost your first playoff game after winning a first round bye. Still kinda hurts doesn't it!?!
