You can see why developers like Apple.
Can you give me some examples to your claims? Can you give me the name of an Apple app and give me the features/benefits that's built into that app, that's not built into the android version to justify the purchase price?
Angry birds and whats app. Both paid on Apple, free on Android....Can you tell me specifically the features, capabilities, or whatever it is you talk about that justifies this app being paid on apple?

again whenever you want to stop talking about opinions and facts, I'll start taking you serious.
the creators of instagram themselves said the Android version would be better than iOS
http://www.wired.com/underwire/2012...very-soon/?pid=6398&pageid=97539&viewall=true
“In some ways, it’s better than our iOS app. It’s crazy,” said Systrom.
Your arrogance is as insulting as your perceived knowledge.
I'm actually a 33 year old male who has been gaming and using computers in general since the age of 5 (Spectrum 48k was my first) and owned every single platform you can name. I've seen it all in gaming, gotten bored of it, sold off my consoles, and don't see value for money in titles anymore. On iOS I have get similar experiences in the genres I enjoyed, at a fraction of the cost. I don't need the latest lifelike visuals, they don't impress me anymore (my launch day Japanese Dreamcast was the last console to make me go "Wow").
You're again, AGAIN, using Instagram as your one example. It's one app, one developer, who said in SOME WAYS, not all ways, but SOME WAYS their app was better on Android than iOS. This is an app that's long since been on iOS and is now owned by Facebook who, if you believe the Internet, is working on ... an Android phone of their own of which, no doubt, Instagram would be a main feature (see expanded version of Facebook camera app).
You dare to tell me to stop dealing in opinion and deal in facts? Your facts? Don't make me laugh with such ignorant nonsense.
My iPad is loaded with the following:
Sky Go (finally on Android after a long delay, but not supported on all devices).
Sky Cloud WiFi (free WiFi for Sky broadband customers from the cloud, not yet on Android with no release date).
Sky+.
Sky News for iPad (Android version has nothing close to this interactive Sky News app).
Sky Sports News for iPad (same as above).
Spotify.
Netflix.
iPhoto.
iMovie.
Find my iPhone.
iBooks.
TomTom UK & Ireland (I will ALWAYS take a dedicated sat nav over turn by turn, Google or Apple).
BBC iPlayer.
ITV Player.
4OD.
VLC Player.
Tune In Radio.
Engadget.
CNET.
Yelp.
Google Voice.
Google Maps.
Infinity Blade.
Infinity Blade 2.
Real Racing 2 HD.
NOVA 3.
SoulCalibur.
Grand Theft Auto 3.
Final Fantasy.
Final Fantasy 2.
Final Fantasy 3.
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions.
ShadowGun.
Mass Effect: Infiltrator.
Dead Space.
Batman: Arkham City Lockdown.
NFS Shift 2: Unleashed.
NFS Hot Pursuit.
FIFA 12.
Tiger Woods 12.
Madden NFL 12.
Burnout Crash.
Sky Gamblers - Air Supremacy.
Modern Combat 3.
Sonic 4 Ep.1.
Sonic 4 Ep.2.
Max Payne.
Sonic CD.
The King of Fighters.
Street Fighter Collection.
Final Fight.
Asphalt 6 HD.
Marvel vs Capcom 2.
DoDonPachi Resurrection.
DoDonPachi Blissful Death.
Deathsmiles.
You can add Infinity Blade Dungeons and Street Fighter X Tekken to that list when they launch in the coming months ... both iOS exclusive, both paid, both not fart apps.
Where is Angry Birds? Where are the fart apps? Eh? To say liking games is a "teenage mentality" is ridiculous. My iPad allows me to stream live TV from my Sky subscription, use my Sky broadband connection while out and about, book Sky Box Office movies, stream movies from Netflix, get full and proper GPS sat nav capabilities, browse the web, check email, video chat with friends, SMS friends, play the best mobile games, and more.
The charts in iTunes are only a snapshot of what is happening now. To suggest, nay use, these charts as proof of what makes developers their money on iOS is folly. Oh yeah, here's some "facts" ... the Sonic game in the chart? It's there because it's the free app of the week. Developers like iOS because a title like FF Tactics priced at £10.99 will sell.
