iPad 2 First Impressions and Unboxing Photos

quick question

A quick question for those who own both iPad 1 and iPad 2.

I have rubber allergies and was thinking if there still is rubber between the bezel and the glass in the display as there is with iPad 1?

I either have to wait two weeks or fly few thousand miles to check this myself :)

White looks great, but it only serves to highlight grubby bedsheets ;):D j/k

Enjoy I'm only jealous as I still have two weeks to go.

Oh you should edit your post and where its IMG change to TIMG, it makes the thread cleaner especially when people quote your post.
 
so glad I didnt order the white. looks like a cheap picture frame.

Prob will smudge easier at some point. Cant wait for those threads
 
Not impressed with white model - reminds me of that cheap $150 Pandigital e-reader.

LOL you people crack me up. It has GLASS over it and will smudge only as much as the black does, but it will be MUCH LESS noticeable than the black!

Why am I responding to this?
 
Ohhh it is very pretty! I need to stay away from this forum and Apple stores in general as I might crumble under the lure of temptation. But I'm going to stick to the one I have and update next year. Well I'm going to try to!!
 
So, any comparison on performance to the iPad 1?

Or will this be just another bezel bitchfest?

LOL what are you talking about? I wasn't agreeing with you. I bought a White iPad 2 and it will NOT have smudges more noticeable than a Black iPad 2! Do you not realize there is glass covering the white bezel?
 
Mine is still syncing but I had a hell of a time trying to get the SIM out of the iPad. The tray was stuck and wouldn't budge. Other than that, nice and slim. Can't wait to see how much faster it is.
 
What r u guys impressions on the smart cover? Do u guys think it's gonna scratch iPad with time?

haha .. Id have either right now, and like you Ive gotta wait 2 weeks (I hope!)

At least you have GUINNESS (was over there a few months back - OMG its lush - compared to English Guinness)

Anyway, I digress... :D
 
Unboxing and syncing my white one now...they were out of black in 16GB so I went with it...glad I did!

Also, charges through USB when syncing now. Good stuff.
