I sold my iPad 1 a year or so ago. Not worth much despite still working - as far as it went.My iPad Air 1 sure feels like a dinosaur.. can barely load basic websites and even YouTube.. I am surprised it's taken this long for the iPad 2! At least this will keep people that had the iPad 3 (the bastard child) still happy they can use theirs.. LOL

The battery in my iPad 1 seemed hardly diminished. I couldn't actually find much to do with it, but I could have it switched on, playing about with it, connected by wifi, and the battery resolutely stayed charged - for days and days. Even getting as low as 70% was tedious.My wife's HP laptops battery could hold about two full minutes of charge after three years. LOL!
