iPad 2 UK Thread

I find the keyboard clicks much quieter too.

I too am worried.
 
Tesco Direct is down or at least when you try to order an iPad 2. Are there really that many people still trying to get hold of them???
 
Ah balls

after 16 hours of Tesco saying my order was awating payment confirmation I went out early and queued up outside regents street store and picked myself a 32gb 3G in black.. they were out of the 64GB 3Gs


Now i've just seen that my tesco order for the 64GB +3G has now changed to awaiting dispatch and will be with me on monday!


Going to have to return the 32 to apple
 
Tesco Direct are selling the smart leather cases for £35 rather than £59. Probably a misprice but I got in quick to order one.

Thanks to all for stock updates - my brilliant mum just rang to say she'd picked me up a 64gb 3g black in a local Orange shop. Can't wait for delivery.

Need pics of other people's posted to keep me going til Tuesday!

Got 64gb White from Westfield apple this morning. They still have some stock now. Also car phone wharehouse in Westfield have stock as well

Tesco out of stock *sigh*.

I rang Currys, and they are not sure they can allocate stock for my order :/

Me too. I feel your pain.

Was going to go for black, but got the annoying message I keep getting from Tesco - the item has gone out of stock. Right at the last moment. That, or 'error'.

keep refreshing, and checking all the models. I just got one after a few tries. Looks like theyre adding them one by one
 
I thought I'd got super luck last night.

I turned up at 6. Saw the huge queue at Apple and walked past and walked on by phones4u who happened to have exactly what I wanted and zero queue.

So I picked up a black 64GB 3G and left and all seemed well...

Turns out the iPad is LOCKED to orange! I paid the full price outright and it is locked!

I have a genius appointment later and I hope they think the iPad is faulty and swap it fir an unlocked one as I have a horrible feeling that phone4u will not refund me.

I'm hopeful that even the genius don't know iPads are locked and the fact I paid full price as well will sort me out otherwise I'm dreading the trip back to try and get a refund.

And I thought I was so lucky skipping the queue and getting one so easy.
