Well PC World came through and delivered... except the back of the iPad is damaged@ A deep black scuff mark on the top-left corner and slight scratches down the same side.
They're collecting it tomorrow and won't be getting any more stock in for four weeks.

The saga continues...
They tried to deliver the only 10 mins I went out - I left my mobile phone number for them to ring me - returned to the house, refreshed my DHL link and it said they tried to deliver and left a card... there was no card, I rang them and was informed that it definitely has never left Manchester.!!
Then 15 mins later I refreshed again and it said it has been returned to the depot! I rang again and they say I am now too late to arrange for a re-delivery tomorrow as I have just missed the cut off time!!!

Ordered 64GB Black 3G on Sunday at 17:00 from Curry's. Have received tracking number at 14:00 saying unit is on the way. Will believe it when I have it in my hands but certainly beats the 4th May delivery date given by the Apple store for the one I ordered on Friday evening!

Well I have just ordered from comet again.
I think I may have typed my details wrong for the payment thats why it did not process properly. As the second time I ordered I get order confirmation email straight away.
The only thing is they won't be able to deliver it until next thursday instead of Friday like my original order was going to be.
Lets see what happens if they cancel it then i'm just probably going to wait until Tesco have some back in stock.

Currys, Argos, DHL and Comet guys kick the products around the floor and sometimes open them and reseal them......so check your iPad 2 for signs of use when you get it......it is tainted before you even set eyes on it....tut tut...
Says delivery from 5 days when I go to the checkout.

I ordered a White 32g wifi ipad from PC World on Friday, received the usual confirmation and that the order had been processed but then heard nothing. I went to cancel my order this morning as Tesco had some in stock this morning, but saw PC World had taken all the money out of my account this morning. I rang and they said they are waiting for a DHL tracking number, I'm worried they are just passing the buck! Am I right in thinking they can't take the money until your order is in the box ready to go? I'm really hoping they haven't just taken the money so I won't cancel and go elsewhere...Anyone else had the money taken but no tracking info?

I ordered an iPad on Sunday - money's been taken, no tracking number. I don't think they are allowed to do this.
Yes same here according to my credit card account they took the money on Friday! They claim today it has been released from the warehouse but still no tracking number.
Anyone else order from HMV.com? Currently 'awaiting stock allocation' - whatever that means...
