IPAD FAILRAGE!

Got a 64 Black 3G in my sights at my local store on reserve for pickup -

But the internets got full with all you trolls trying to do the same thing.

Session timed out and by the time I got back, 3G was gone.

I'd have had to send my GF anyway. Grr work.

I was in PC world business on Old kent road today.

their system stated 255 32gb ipad 2 in stock.

The guy who served me called them and they told him none available and didn't know when.

They said it was the same for all DSG stores. they did sya they would take my money though.

I declined the offer.

I ordered mine (black, 32GB wifi) through macwarehouse.co.uk (another division of DSG) yesterday and it'll be in my hands tomorrow

he first time I got to the Regent Street site, it showed no 32GB 3Gs...
The second time I got through all 3Gs were gone...

Brighton store had 16gb white wifi & 3G and 32gb black wifi & 3G to reserve - All gone now though.

Really prefer the black one so held off, was tempted to stump up for the 32gb though.....

What colour do people prefer here?

Showed stock, but then just froze. By the time it finally loaded the page - all gone. Fuuuuuu*****!!!!!

I got my ordered but it was sooo slow and deciding on the time about 5 to 10 secs and it timed out wth. But got the email to say that I got one reserved.

If you went to PC World Business then the guy would have been looking on the business catalogue which then works through another system, which isn't to accurate so he did the right thing to call and double check. If you order through business then all iPads are manually allocated on a first come first serve basis. They offered to take your money because it could have been put on backorder which means as soon as they have more in they will get them shipped out to you, rather than waiting till there in stock.

Tesco have shipped today for delivery tomorrow. May be worth checking their site out early tomorrow as I think they put stock up this morning before 7am.

Managed to - apparently - get a black 64GB WiFi + 3G reserved at Covent Garden. Got the confirmation screen but no confirmation email yet...

Put a 32 and a 64GB 3G Black in the "shopping basket", then got a message that the 64GB is not available anymore. Was able to reserve the 32GB though (Covent Garden).
