Hmm interesting, thanks for the post. If I can't get hold of one through John Lewis this week I'll just go for one.

What's everyone else's shipping date say?

Mines showing the same thing, just reserved the same thing at Covent Garden for tomorrow night, but no confirmation mail yet. :(
 
My Tesco delivery to store ordered this morning for pickup tomorrow as just changed from...

...At warehouse, awaiting dispatch, to...

...Sending from warehouse to store (Ref #71) which means on way to store, hope it comes in by tomorrow.....please

So what do I do with my Apple Reservation at Metro for a 32Gb WiFi White now? buy it and sell it to someone who wants one? or leave it?
 
West Quay Apple store (canary wharf), still got reservation stock - black/white wifi 32/64, black/white 3G 64.

Edit: apologies to Londoners and environs - the store is in Southampton!

Just tried and got this -

We’re sorry, but there are no pickup dates available at this store. Please check back later, try another Apple Retail Store location, or shop the Apple Online Store.

Damn. Might give them a call in the morning!
 
Regent Street is showing as having White 32GB Wifi + Black 64GB Wifi

But like WestQuay it gives you the same "No dates available" message :(

Regent Street still has 64GB black and 32GB white but Wi-Fi only...
For those that want these then hitting the store by 7:30 should ensure you get them (been queuing there for 2 days now)

I hope Regent St or Covent Garden get some in soon as I've had one since launch on Friday and haven't been able to use it yet. Me and two mates were lucky enough to get one but I got the short straw and found when I got home that it was already synched to someone else's iTunes library!
 
Has anyone received their online Apple orders yet?

I've still got a red smart cover outstanding that appears not to have moved.

Meanwhile on Monday I collected an iPad 2 from Tesco!

Tesco product pages were listing as in stock but when checking out the basket, all iPad's were magically 'out of stock'. Back to product page again which still says 'in stock' and repeat the same tedious and pointless process.

At one point, the site crashed completely. How many users need to be online to crash Tesco's website?
 
I had a look at tesco in the early hours and had same thing, added to inbox but then when you go to checkout.. no stock :rolleyes:

Im still waiting on my pcworld order from saturday, anyone received theres yet who went though them?

can anyone help me understand if they had the product in stock which it did say when i ordered, why they dont just send it to me? they have taken money.

I had that with HMV the other day. Showing in stock (WINNER), add to basket, fine, view basket "some of these items have had their quantity updated since you added them. out of stock".

"Okay" I thought, thinking the site was busy, someone bought the last one while I was faffing.

Go back to product page "in stock"

I had the same issue with Tesco this morning so left it. Went back a little later just to check..and hey presto. Order processed, and shipping soon :)

So keep trying peeps. I get the impression stock is held as people checkout, and if payments are refused/not completed they are released back into stock. :eek:

64Gb Black wifi... they had the 32's yesterday.I woke up at 0530 (yuk) and thought i'd have a quick look see. Was lucky i guess. They seem to have stock early each morning... :rolleyes:
 
Standing outside Covent Garden store with 1 other person. Reservation of 64GB Black Wifi at 9am.

I can see the light!

At this rate I should only be about 15 minutes late for work too!

I'll cancel my web order as soon as I have it in my hands.
 
*sigh*

First - cancelled apple order sunday - decided to be adventurous. (Though funds have still not been released as yet on credit card, even after two phone calls to apple!)

Second - yesterday slept in and missed the black 32GB wifi ones on Tesco :(

Third - last night, the london stores didn't have any of the above

Fourth - this morning tesco didn't

Next

Try apple again tonight!

Try tesco again tomorrow morning!

I feel a trend coming on!!:eek:
 
Just a heads up if any of you guys plan to buy from Orange.....DON'T as they lock them to their network even on the unsubsidised full price sim free models.
