Yup, I am.

Good chance of getting the 32GB WiFi from a post earlier in the thread about how Brighton have loads of stock... Sounds promising.

I just hope that I actually use the Pad, especially if I am shelling out £500 for it. If not, then I'll just make a tidy profit on eBay.

Want to collect one for me ;)

his ipad1 + 3ds >>>> ipad2.

2 x Camera's on 3Ds = Resolutions are VGA (640 x 480) for each camera. Lens are single focus and uses the CMOS capture element. The active pixel count is approximately 300,000 pixels.

and a fanatic :D

Really hope this 9am story is true although it will mean I have to wake up even earlier on Friday to start queuing but much prefer that to the 5pm launch.
Expecting official news from Apple in the next couple of days but wish they'd hurry up !

Just been having my daily online chat with apple ;)
He indicated that pricing info would not be available until Friday!!
apart from that it was the usual script
Even with my carefully phrased questions:p

what is the best way to get internet on your ipad with pay as you go? I read about those 12gb/12 month simcards that you can find on amazon and I also saw the 3 mifi that let's you connect up to 5 devices at the same time. My question is, do they all work abroad? I'm traveling at least once a month, that's why I'm looking for pay as you go that i can have everywhere... anybody have an idea?

Cheers,

Fabien

From the reviews i've seen of both, the ipads seems to be really really bad, but the 3DS one seems awful.

There's a front facing cam too... so 3 cameras on 3ds

Might try that now. I'm not expecting much change on pricing other than a bit lower. The key thing for me is release time.

I know it's tempting to try to kill the waiting time and the lack of info by chatting to one of the online sales reps, but they are about as informed as you are (probably less so if they don't follow the rumour sites) and even if they did know anything I doubt they're allowed to say it.

The lack of info is frustrating, but I learnt quite a while ago that asking the reps is usually fruitless. :(

Not sure where they have the info from but Macworld UK have just tweeted the following:

iPad 2 = Wifi: £399 (16GB); £479 (32GB); £559 (63GB) - iPad 3G = £449 (16GB); £579 (32GB) and £659 (64GB)

I can't wait to see this screen.

I very much doubt Apple would have Steve Jobs saying that the price is being kept the same, drop the price of the iPad 1 by £100 across the board, then release the iPad 2 at a different price.

Fairly sure prices will remain the same as per keynote speech.

He meant US prices.

iPad 2 will be available at Apple retail stores and select Apple Authorized Resellers at 5 p.m. local time, and online through the Apple Store® (www.apple.com) beginning at 1 a.m
