I think given the slip of the iPhone 5, it wouldn't be possible to ship that many new products at the same time. iPhone, iPod, and iPad all in the fall? I don't think so.

Who really thought another iPad would come out this year...i mean honestly?
There are a lot of nutjobs who read this forum. And I mean a LOT.

People whose grasp of reality is so tenuous as to ignore the economics of consumer electronics manufacturing and the realities of Newtonian physics. It's quite sad, really.

Apple has its hand full for the rest of the year:

iPhone 5 in the Fall...

Converting all their consumer computers to Intel Sandybridge...

(and removing the optical drive.... ;) did I just say that?)

Yeah, when I heard Steve Jobs specifically mention in the keynote that this was the year of iPad 2, I figured he was saying this because of the rumors regarding an entirely new iPad model being released just a few months later.
It's reassuring to the customer.

Proof that not every single rumor warrants exploration and conjecture... How about some common sense?

Speaking of tablets, Amazon.com now has the Kindle for $25 less if you opt for the sponsored screen savers. Basically ads appear in the screen saver and you get the kindle for $25 less. It is noted on Amazon's homepage.

LOL

I know. I doubt anyone believed this. It was the most ridiculous "rumor" out there.

How about a mini iPad in the 7 inch range coming this year?

That's a gimmick for the so called competition.

The people who believed this rumor are the same people who would watch 3 expected Verizon iphone rumors come and go over a year's time and on reading the next one declare they "can't wait to get it" like it was fact and the previous false rumors had never happened. They never hear about the boy who cried wolf I guess. It explains how people can listen to a religious leader declare the end is coming on a particular date, watch the date come and go and continue following that leader as though nothing happened.
