So I'm going to need to buy all new cases just for .5mm less thickness?
Seems pretty ridiculous. Just give us a slightly bigger battery.
FFS, this obsession with thinness needs to stop.
I'm still confused about the mute switch rumors. If the device is thick enough for the headphone jack why would the mute switch need to go?
I like the screen too, but I realise that it's a battle between making a device lighter while improving its internals and still keeping/enhancing the battery life. Personally, I'd rather they kept the existing thinness while having a better battery and higher capacity.Nah, I like the 9" screen. The Air needs to be lighter.
Meh, call me when Apple announces an iPad Pro. Until then, it's just more of the same.
"Can't innovate anymore" indeed.

There will be a 16GB iPad because there are people that will buy it. Just because you want something different doesn't mean Apple shouldn't offer what you don't want.
I gotta be honest....I see no reason to upgrade from Air 1. Tocuh ID is sweet on my iP6. but I am OK hitting 4 digits. I have not one game other than Temple Run type stuff, so processor is nothing.
Stop this "thinness" obsession. It's not always better.
I think it's looking doubtful that Apple is doing a design update on the rMini this year.

What would you consider to be innovative?
