No, not at all, I just order lots of stuff online, including from Apple.

These threads are always full of people worrying that their delivery isn't going to arrive on time, being very pessimistic about delivery times, and in the end almost everyone gets their stuff on time. Early is much more common than late.

It is incredible how quickly things can get dispatched. People are suggesting that they may not get their item until Friday because it is still processing on Tuesday morning, but the fact is that with many companies you can order something this evening for delivery tomorrow morning. Apple are never that quick, but I wouldn't start worrying about not receiving it tomorrow until it is still showing as not dispatched this evening.

I'm not saying that they will all be delivered tomorrow, just that the fact it hasn't yet dispatched is no sign either way that it will or won't be.
 
Mine just dispatched for delivery tomorrow, Does anyone have any experience with calling UPS and asking if they can deliver after a certain time?

While we are waiting, has any local stores got the new Smart cases in? I ordered one this morning but with the Air 2 being delivered tomorrow, I would prefer to get one tomorrow as well if possible. Argos, Currys or anywhere similar?
 
I ordered mine on Sunday for estimated delivery between the 23rd and the 27th. It would appear, just by looking at others who have seen movement today, that my iPad should be preparing later today (still processing as of now) then switching to dispatched tomorrow for delivery on Thursday (at least what I can surmise from what others have posted so far)

Ordered an iPad Air 2 -- 64GB -- Space Gray -- Wi-Fi

Not sure whether it will go to preparing today, but I think it's most likely you will receive it on Thursday or Friday.

The fact that cellular models ordered on Friday don't seem to be moving yet would be my biggest concern. I still think it's pretty likely they will ship today, but if they don't then I imagine they will go tomorrow before yours, and that could delay yours until Friday.

Still plenty of time though.

Yeah... I admit it may be a stretch to start seeing movement tonight, but just going off of others, I am sure I will be getting it Thursday or Friday -- barring unexpected delays. Which is good as I happen to have those two days off :)

Looking forward to it. Gonna be a nice upgrade from my iPad 4
 
Have a 128Gb WiFi coming for me and a 128Gb Cellular for the boss. I'll admit, I'm struggling not to snicker when looking at the dispatched update on the WiFi one... :cool:

Also if they're delivering tomorrow I'd expect the review embargo to lift tonight so should be a flood of reading matter to tide us all over while we await the black and gold van to roll up.
 
Just received an email from John Lewis and they have the wifi models available for next day delivery, so i think the wifi & cellular will become available Thursday for Friday delivery... grr. Mine on the other hand is still processing..
 
I only ordered my 128GB cellular yesterday so it's still showing 27-29 Oct despatch, but if John Lewis get some before then, I'll just cancel the Apple order.

Well my Smart Case has now despatched but the ipad is still Processing and the money is still in the account. So at least it looks like i'll have the case for when the ipad does arrive!
 
Looks like mine has left the Syncreaon warehouse and is on its way. Fingers crossed for delivery tomorrow :D
