Thing is, the John Lewis site is only showing the Wi-Fi versions as available. The Cellular are still down as coming soon. Will be happy as long as it arrives by Friday. As you say though if I did see a cellular one available anywhere else I would grab it as long as I could still cancel the one from Apple store.

Can't imagine this batch are coming from China considering the dates given.
I am pretty sure we will get notification on Thursday for cellular ones. If JL come into stock before I am despatched from Apple I will cancel, especially as the discount I get would more than pay for a cover, and I would get next day delivery with Click & Collect - a win win, as long as it is timed right.
This is a little odd - mine's being sent via UPS? Not Syncreaon like everyone else. Maybe it has something to do with me being in London? Who knows...
Anyway, Apple are saying it's been dispatched and they've given me a UPS tracking number. So I checked that on their website, and all UPS are saying is that they've processed the order, not that they've shipped it or anything. Assumedly it'll speed along through that tonight because Apple have already iMessaged me forewarning of the delivery happening tomorrow!

Mine has just done exactly the same, was saying delivery 22nd - 24th up until a short while ago, and now says 28th - 30th Oct. 64GB Cellular ordered just a few minutes after the store came back up. :-(

Syncreon is not a delivery company they are a logistics company and pass on the stock to couriers like UPS, UK Mail, TNT etc. for actual delivery. This has always been the case with Apple hardware pre-orders.

I ordered a few mins after the store came up as well and my 64GB SG Cellular is still showing the 22 to 24 delivery dates. Still at processing though.
