iPad iPad Air 2 pre-order/launch UK

my order for 128GB cellular is still processing, and the money was frozen from my account on Thursday and now for some reason the money is unfrozen is that weird ?
 
In transit via ups! Last location was Tamworth, but saying delivery by end of day tomorrow.

Fingers crossed they arrive after 12:30, otherwise no one will be home to sign! :(
 
Mine dispatched too with UPS. Delivering tomorrow. So excited ;) Seems 2GB ram with 3-core CPU is confirmed so we're gonna expect some good performance upgrade over the original iPad Air.
 
Shipped!

2 x iPad Air 2 Cellular + WiFi, UK Apple Store.

Ordered on the 17th just as the store came up.

Still no joy with my 64GB Gold Cellular. Money still not taken and still showing as Processing but at least the date range hasn't yet slipped from the 22nd-24th. Really thinking at this stage though that it will now be next week before I see it.

No, it's quite normal.

If they take an authorisation hold then it gets released after a few days. If they haven't shipped and therefore confirmed the payment before that point then the authorisation will just reverse, as yours has.

When they ship they will just put it through again.

If you don't mind me asking what prompted you to go for gold?

My space grey Air has already got a buyer as soon as I can get hold of a Air 2 in the next couple of days. Still undecided about silver or gold. Want to go back to a white bezel as on my iPad 2 which was a superb device.

Gold seemed a bit naff at first but I'm warming to it. It will be in an Apple smart
case so what does it matter!
 
I ordered mine at 4.01pm last Friday. I'm in London, got my dispatch email just now and it's not coming until Thursday. Not the end of the world, but I am curious as to why when plenty of others are getting theirs tomorrow.

same here and same iPad but in silver.
 
How do you know if UPS is delivering or not? All I know is from Syncreon, that my iPad is in Birmingham, I'm probably missing something obvious

The tracking information for your order on your account on the Apple site should change to reflect that as soon as Syncreon has pSt it on to UPS or which ever courier is delivering to you.

My Apple page is still saying Syncreon, but through trial and error of various couriers, I found out it was UKMail

Morning update - no change
 
Birmingham

So my ipad air 2 Wi-Fi had been sat in Birmingham since yesterday according to the tracking info.

Delivery scheduled for today so hopefully it's either already out of Birmingham or already on the move

Good spot! Entered my tracking number from Apple and delivery post code on UK Mail site and popped up was my delivery.
