Ill just wait for the Yoobao ones to come out

I'm assuming sales will start at the same moment world wide.
As the New Zealand store is mentioning October 18 as starting date for the preorder, orders will not start in at least the next four hours, as it is October 17, 8.32pm in NZ right now.

That's a logical explanation

i know what you mean, but they are good quality and the one I have on my Air 1 still looks as good as the day I bought it ... a year ago.

Maybe I have had bad luck, but all the 3rd party cases I have ever had have looked shoddy pretty quickly.

I think pre-orders may go live here between 1 or 2pm here if going by the Australian and New Zealand time, as pre-orders go live on the 18th for them.

As it didn't go live at midnight California time, I'd think it will now be unlikely before 8am their time (4pm here). Probably more likely 10am (6pm).

I could be wrong of course, but I can't see any particular reason why they would choose to do it in the early hours of the morning.

I been sitting here since 8am refeshing the Apple online store hope I don't need to wait till 6pm.

Can those in the UK start hitting that live chat and seeing if you can't get the rest of the world some news here?

Aus was always the first, but not this time,
It is 17th of Oct in all areas of the world now...

No, it is not. For example, it is not Friday yet in Honolulu, which is part of the US. And there are areas even further west than that. You should brush up on your geography ;)

I was planning on getting an iPad Air 2..but now I think Im gonna stick with my iPad 4

I don't understand why everyone goes crazy for preorders on the iPads when you can always just walk into the store and take your pick on launch day.

They're not nearly as popular or hard to get as iPhones on release day, although where I live you can walk in on release day and buy iPhones with minimal waiting time as well.

Where's that then? Apple stores up and down the country were rammed on iPhone 6 launch

Lincoln.

We don't have an Apple Store but we've got various network stores. I went into the Three store about 1pm on launch day and had a play with both new iPhones. They had lots of iPhone 6s available but no 6+s.

I didn't get one though, don't see either of them as that much of an upgrade over the 5s.
