iPad iPad Air 2 pre-order/launch UK

The only explanation is that there should be something wrong with the store and it's under *real* maintenance. Apart from that, pissing off their most loyal customers who just can't wait to give them their money is not Apple-like.
 
I've always been an absolute Apple fanboy, but these days they are starting to treat their loyal customers badly. Surely it's not difficult to communicate effectively with customers what time they are starting pre-orders.

Apple should be careful here, people do have lives and don't just sit on their backsides all day waiting for Apple. We want to buy, we love Apple products, but we're starting to get annoyed with poor communication from you.

If people are prioritising pre-ordering Apple products over real world activities that they should be doing, it's them who have a problem, not Apple :rolleyes:
 
What's with the desperation? I'm sure these won't be a sell out like the iPhone 6/plus
 
The daft thing is, I was wondering if it was a hack attack or something - so went there to see if other systems might be effected - and there it is at the bottom!

Still - strange time to have such a long outage on your retail operation....

To be honest I didn't know it even existed. I just checked with the US thread and there downtime is for another 42 minutes as well. Going to be a worldwide launch at 8am APPLE HQ time!

Store back up, 64gb air 2 space grey wifi ordered! Although for some reason it says delivery by 22nd to 24th of October haha?
