Crap. Mine has been there since 4:45p yesterday "At destination sort facility". No movement since, and due for delivery today in OC. I can only hope it's because I asked for it to be held for pickup at a fedex/office location.
Should've gotten to my local facility and been out for delivery by now.
EDIT: AH! Just got to the local facility 2 min ago.
So no one has received one yet? I thought someone on the east coast would have by now. Very curious about the data plan options.
Mine's in Seattle now. Looks like it didn't get a direct flight from Ontario - had to change planes in Oakland overnight.
It is now 8:20 AM (PDT). UPS says my package arrived in Ontario, California, about 40 miles from here at 6:02 am, with delivery by the end of the day.
It's not on the truck yet. UPS deliveries are usually on the truck by 7:00 AM.
I think a lot of us are going to be cutting it close. I still don't get why the LTE models were delayed... did anybody find out?
Well mine is on truck for delivery! wish I could track the truck
They say by 1030 but I think that is a load of BS
I hope it's not delayed until tomorrow. I took the day off for it today, and will have to work tomorrow to make up for it.
Now to decide which carrier to use....

Mine says by end of day. I wish there was some way to get a better estimate, based on previous deliveries to my address.
Seriously. Mine has been on the truck since 9:02am. I'm like WTF?! The UPS guy has already come by where is FedEx? I'm supposed to be stuck in the house all day until 8pm waiting on FedEx. Its better to give out a time information on the location of the driver maybe give a two hour window of time like say 2-4pm or something like that so a day is not wasted. Really waiting until 8pm for a truck.
I dont think its too much to ask for a more specific time window. Waiting around for 12 hours seems weird to me. Or maybe giving me a notice when a driver is within two hours of delivering.Oh don't be such a prima donna. Everyone's in the same situation as you. FedEx offers several options:
You can wait until they come -- by 8pm, that is their time commitment.
You could have had the package redirected to a FedEx Office near you and p/u there at your convenience.
You can just go about your day, intentionally miss the delivery, and once online shows a delivery attempt has been made call FedEx and request p/u at the depot tonight or tomorrow or have it redirected to FedEx Office for p/u.
You could have paid an extra $5 (direct to FedEx, not via Apple) to have it delivered between 5pm and 8pm. (You still can but delivery will be Mon).
