32gb space grey WiFi ordered, via Apple Store app, for in store pickup in Los Gatos, CA. Took all of 1 minute. Easy peasy, lemon squeezey. G'night...
Just went back at ordered a black Smart Cover. I'll pick it up with my new iPad tomorrow. I'm so excited, but my poor bank account is crying.

Don't be worried about receiving your email in the next few minutes telling you it's ready. Remember an employee has to retrieve the sticker with your info, attach it to your items you purchased, set them aside in a special spot, then update the system that yours is set.
In reality, I would be surprised if you receive it prior to 7am EST as staff will be really busy this morning. I am sure most stores have people dedicated to this but no need to start blowing up posts with "oh gosh, i have not received my email"

iPad Air has got the advantage over the Mini this time round - it got smaller and lighter while the Mini got bigger, heavier and more expensive.
